(Apologies for the multiple posts, but since this NPC has multiple Wowhead entries due to the phasing caused by the quests, I wanted to spare anyone else the pain of trying to kill him in the wrong phase.)

You encounter Myzerian in steps 2, 4, and 5 of the quest chain that starts with Jonesy Sent for You.

In 2 Reduced Productivity, Myz will be walking around in human form, and according to other posts, will have insane health regeneration. (I did not personally try to kill him at this stage.)

In step 4 Shroud of the Makers, Myz will by flying around above the Schnotzz Elite Troopers in dragon form--although the tooltip will still label him as humanoid--with 2,324k health. He is not stunnable at this stage. Do not bother to try killing him at this point: he will go down to 1 health and become invulnerable. (Very depressing after spending about 30 minutes trying to solo him.)

In step 5 Schnottz So Fast, Myz will be in dragon form (tooltip: humanoid), on fire, and have 767k health. He can now be killed (and stunned), and will drop Myzerian's Head, which will begin a quest. This weakened version of Myzerian will be available from here on out.
