Summons whelps to attack you and they die after a minute, she does primarily ranged attacks so if you want to kite this guy kite the whelps.

If they didn't slap on a 1 minute lifespan to the whelps and the whelps lasted till she dropped combat then she would be the most powerful mob in wow until an 80 1 shots her. Still even with the 1 minute lifespan this mob is still formidable.

The flamekin imps down south will kill her due to rapid shot aggro, so not kitable to lakeshire.

In 7.3.5 this is awfully tuned. If you're playing a rogue without heirlooms, pop all your cooldowns and try to stunlock her. Because Keeshan will not tank the whelps and they'll kill you in seconds.

As a shammy, pop your earth elemental. It's smart enough to pick up the whelps, unlike Keeshan.

Fury Warrior

When the whelps spawn, take them out. Useless Keeshan will target them (he did for me). This helps burn them down fast(er). If he doesn't, as long as you kill the whelps you should be fine. You should probably only get about two spawns this way and still be able to kill the Whelptamer. Of course, I was a Fury Warrior, so my strategy may not be helpful as survivability may be different. This mob was indeed surprisingly difficult. When I die in game, I usually make it a point to log off. It really does happen so rarely that I take it as a sign I'm tired or distracted. LOL. But not this time, I was so surprised I was angry I just had to kill her!
