After completion of the quest-line given by him, he sends you to the south and tells you that he's gonna have an appointment with "Banshee Queen", Sylvannas to ask what she did to Koltira.

I don't know what's going on in Horde counterparts of this quest chain but I really wonder if there're gonna be some new quests that will show us what happens between Thassarian and Sylvannas.

I really hope that Blizz will implement moar quests about the death knights.. At the end of the horde quest line, Sylvanas gets quite pissed at Koltira it seems..

Koltira Deathweaver says: Your highness. I deliver to you... Andorhal.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Enough of this insolence. Do you think that I'm blind to everything that goes on outside of the Undercity?
Koltira Deathweaver says: I... your majesty, we were victorius!
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: No thanks to you. Andorhal should have been ours days ago, when we defeated the Scourge.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: I know your secret, Koltira. I'm aware of your friendship with the Alliance death knight, Thassarian.
Koltira Deathweaver says: Y... your majesty...
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Arthas clearly failed when he created his death knights. You are still weak.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Fortunately, I have agents that can help you... erase this weakness. Beneath the Undercity you go.
Koltira Deathweaver yells: No!
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Shh, quiet, death knight. When I'm finished with you, your fear will be gone.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: You can thank me later.

I love this guy, and whoever writes his stuff! (The storyline with Koltira perhaps alluded to here)

after completing all quests in western plaguelands as alliance, Andorhal is taken by the Forsaken. All NPCs are dead.
Thassarian is gone, only the corpse(!) of his minion Lurid remains.

I love this quest line, it’s great but also a little sad. If you read “Death Knight (the comic)” you would know about Thassarian’s past. He wanted to win this battle, to prove he could lead to his past sergeant. When Andorhal was lost, that memory must have been triggered. He must have felt rage when he remembered the sergeant’s words, “you are meant to take orders, not give them, and there is no shame in that. Your skills win battles, but forget about rising through the ranks.”

Also what happened to his sister, he said she was his only family and that he was bound to return to her.

just spent months hammering the scourge in ice crown with this dude....the awkward moment when you're cruising through the western plague lands..see your bro thassarian................ AND HE TOTALLY ACTS LIKE HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU! sheesh..guess it was only special for me then bro.....i mean they say death knights are cold hearted.. but seriously!

So... fun fact. Dominate Mind works on Thassarian. We took a lovely walk over to visit Koltira after killing off a few Alliance quest givers.

Has anyone ever mentioned that Koltira has more health than Thassarian? XD Koltira has 1549K and Thassarian only has 542K ahaha. I wonder why... but anywho! I love both their stories, and hope to see more.. cx

Thassarian in Andorhal has been updated since Legion, at least in that he has new voice lines when you click him.

I get the feeling he shouldn't be calling my 35 hunter "Deathlord," but it's flattering I suppose.
