odd why does they rep say - an not +? for All factions with Booty bay? It should Add rep an Lose it.

Every once in awhile one of these will be trying to jump onto the pier from the water and repeatedly bounce off the side, its quite funny to watch.

EDIT: also, killing these does not actually grant or take away reputation with anyone.

Do note that if you are going for 'the Insane' and grind reputation in the phased area during the Doublerum quest, killing these mobs will actually cause you to lose reputation with Bloodsail Buccaneers after unfriendly reputation. Normally you shouldn't be able to attack these mobs after you are unfriendly, but if you are in group with someone who isn't unfriendly with Bloodsail Buccaneers yet, his/her kills will cause you to lose reputation.

It's been a while since the last comment, so here's the current status. Killing these does not affect your rep with Bloodsail positively or negatively. You can safely set yourself to "At War" with Bloodsail while grinding the phased Booty Bay mobs so you can kill these guys for a chance at any of the various Stranglethorn zone drops.
