Rimefang, along with another frost wyrm named Spinestalker, will guard part of the Frostwing Halls wing in Icecrown Citadel. After their deaths, Sindragosa will spawn.

Taken from WoWWiki, one of Rimefangs abilities:

Icy Spikes - Ice spikes pierce the floor and then rise up, dealing 3813 to 4187 Frost damage and knocking up enemy targets within 3 yards.

Female characters better watch out for this attack!

the main ability that kills the party is his brand, a blood red lightning that anyone it hits has to stop dps while it is on you.

What's with this bug everybody (at least everybody i have been in group with) seems to be so worried about? I have attacked Rimefang at least a dosin times without experiencing any bugs.

might want to add that if you try to run away from him he will cast 寒冰杀戮 and kill the escaper

Was soloing the first two dungeons in HM on my mage. Was having trouble with this boss. I figured out I could stand outside of range of starting the fight, yet still attack the dragon. I dps'd him all the way down to 1 hp, and he doesn't die. Took like 15-20 minutes because he regens his hp almost as fast as I could take it away. In any case, the dragon won't die. =/

Ancient trivia: Rimefang (RIME) is a spell in The Bard's Tale II and III. It is the second AoE spell your mages get that is capable of hitting more than one group of mobs, quickly replacing MIBL from the first game.

I'm sure Blizzard remembers these games, but I cannot say if it is a direct reference :)

I've been looking for a picture/screenshot of the mark he puts on the ground before the spell impacts, like this one:

Also been looking and searching in WoW Model viewer for ages but with no luck. Could someone tell me how could I possibly find a detailed picture of it / find it in model viewer?
