This, and the quest before it, were solo'able as a 77 BM Hunter.
at 75%, the Prophet does an AoE group stun with "infinite" duration. I think it was about a minute, during which he had a conversation with Har'Koa, who comes to help you.
Right before the 75%, spam any one-minute CD helpful abilities you might have. It was a good opportunity for my pet to heal up, and me to regen some mana while watching the argument.
After the interlude with Har'Koa, Har'Koa will cast a tranquility, and do her best to keep you alive. The Prophet will start spamming AoE fire bolts (400 damage each to me and my pet), and it's a DPS race from there to 0%.
Also, be sure to use those Drakkari Offerings you've been getting throughout the zone. There are three statues that each give you three different blessings, very helpful in fights like these. (+10% stats, +91 mp5, and +245 attack power). Each blessing takes 10 offerings, so 30 for a full group of one-hour buffs that are great in the long run.
Downed this on my first try, with fairly average gear (still in 3 pieces of S2, with some Northrend quest rewards), and had about half my health left.

The mob is immune to fears and stuns, so be wary. Save cooldowns for about 20%, because the AoE is a stacking debuff that deals 250 damage per tick per stack. If you go too long, you will inevitably die.
The debuff appeared to be undispelable save by immunity effects like ice block.
If you die at <20%, you will still get credit as long as Har'koa kills him and you do not release.
Enjoy, and good luck! If you fail, the graveyard is very close so you can try again quickly =).

Can easily be solo'd by anyone that can just get to the 75% cut scene. After that if you die then you can just run back as the GY isnt that far and Harkoa will still be fighting him.

Solo'd as a 76 Frost mage with mostly PvP gear and other high stam items.
Died the first try as I mismanaged my cd's and blew them all too early in the fight and died with him at 6.5k hp. The key is transferring threat from yourself to Har'koa smoothly and let her tank the fight.
Summoned him, stood at the top of the stairs, sent my water elemental on him and blinked to the other side of the bowl area. Let him beat on my elemental for a second or two, then hit IV (had no damage trinket on) and laid into him. Got him to about 80% before he got to me so another blink a bit of strafing and ice lancing got him to the 75% mark. After the dialog, Ice Block, stay in it for the whole duration to give Har'koa time to build threat, then invis as soon as you exit. If you're arcane, you'll be able to instant invis, but as frost I only got about 2 seconds of threat reduction before his dot broke it, but that, combined with the time spent building threat while Ice Blocked and Har'koa was able to pull him off me.
After she's established aggro, just stand near her to benefit from tranquility heals and dps the boss down. With the new built in threat meters you can monitor yourself to stay below Har'koa.
It was a close fight, with the Prophet dying with Har'koa only having about 5-10% hp left.

Soloed as a 77 ret pala.
Hitted for 1.1-1.5k on me.
Had some trouble getting him to 80%, but after that it was easy.
Use Holy Light if u get 40% hp, it will get you to 80% hp and help u getting him to 80%.
Had to bubble on about 30% and healed a bit, then I was just fine :) Good luck!

Soloed as 77 Boomkin.
Gear is quite icky tbh, s2 + quest blues/greens.
I found that aggro did not switch to the cat after it came. Prophet still attacked me, so...
For all you nightelves out there looking to solo, just nuke to ~75%(blow all your cooldowns here, kite if you want but I didn't for fear of aggroing the nearby mobs) and Shadowmeld after the cat comes, let it tank then start DPS again. Careful not to aggro the mob off the cat!
Hunters can Feign Death and Priests can Fade, anything to let him hit the cat and not you. Cat is tough, could take the damage until I dps'ed the mob down. Only things that died during the fight were my treants. :)
Good Luck!

Easily solo'ed as a 77 Siphon Life/Felguard lock.
1) Use your Voidwalker, and if you have it, demonic empowerment on the pull for maximum aggro. I used Curse of Weakness because I wasn't sure how bad it would be, but you can probably use about any curse you want.
2) Keep a light set of dots up, at the minimum Corruption and Siphon Life.
3) Whenever the Voidwalker drops to about 50-40%, start casting a mid-rank Health Funnel. Oddly enough, Health Funnel downranks VERY well, though Rank1 might be a bit low for this.
4) At 75%, wait for the cutscene to play out, and then go on as normal. Add Immolation and a damaging curse to your dots, soulshatter if you pull aggro.
I was never in danger of either my pet or I dying.

Prophet of Akali (Prophet):
What is this? I recognize you from when I killed Akali. You must be this that everyone is dreading.
Prophet:
You don't worry me, girl. Just the opposite - I look forward to killing you and your friends. Nothing will standing between me and Zim'Torga now!
Prophet:
How sad that only now do you grasp the truth - I wield the power of a god. You are a mere mortal. You cannot hope to defeat me!
Prophet:
You've meddled in affairs that were none of your business. You are nothing but foreign invaders. Prepare to die!
(You / Your party is stunned while Har'koa appears.)
Har'koa:
PROPHET!
Prophet:
What? HAR'KOA?
Har'koa:
YOU KEEP YOUR FILTHY DRAKKARI HANDS OFF OF THEM!
Prophet:
Very well, kitten. I see no need to delay your inevitable demise. I look forward to dealing with you just as soon as I finish off these simpletons!
Har'koa:
I THINK NOT. YOU WILL DROP YOUR IMMUNITY, CEASE YOUR RITUAL NOW AND RELEASE THEM!
Prophet:
NO! I will kill you all!
(Stun drops. After the prophet dies --)
Har'koa:
Thank you. Once again you have saved us all. I will see you back at Zim'Torga.

Managed to solo this as an Unholy DK without Anti-magic Zone & without dying either. Few good tips, you should not use your ghoul for DPS at all - use it as an free health potion. Do not panic, take it easy & keep up the diseases & use death strike when it's up. As the battle goes on you'll be able to get 2x death strikes in a row which will mostly negate everything the prophet does to you until the end when the stacked dots kick in.
You should have some buffs that can up your health though, some of the magic Prophet will hurt a lot. Once Har'koa comes it will be your dps and healer but dont forget to use Death Strikes.

Too easy as an enhancement shaman:
Start the fight with your earth elemental tanking. When he gets to 75% and finishes his little stun, pop wolves and have them taunt the prophet as often as you can. Save your maelstorm weapon effects for instant healing yourself, and the rest is easy-sauce.

Yo mages.. It's doable, but I quitted trying after dieing several times with my lvl 79 firemage.. (12k hp, 1100sp, 23,56% crit, 112hit and 81 haste)
Since he hits only you with the aoe firedmg (stacking) and the 2k melee hits it's a challenge..
My best: 3% God I suck!

Just soloed this as a 77 balance druid.
At the beginning of the fight, popped treants and proceeded to nuke down. Popped barkskin when I got aggro and used 1 pot. He got me down to 44% by the time I got him to 75%.
When Har'koa comes, let him get aggro before you start anything. Stay out of moonkin form for this fight as you will need to heal for the remainder of the fight because of his stacking debuff. Keep Rejuv. Regrowth and LB up at all times and pop Innervate when necessary.
Keep IS up on him and just wrath him down, pop treants when possible.
I ended at 20% for myself and 15% on Har'koa.
I was pretty happy when I did a 3man quest on my druid. Fun stuff.
To note, I also had the blessings of Zim'Torga (10% increase in stats) and Zim'Rhuk (91mp5).

Affl lock is a little tougher, first you'll want to clear the area around him, and be generous or you'll run into raptors which will get you killed. Next soulstone yourself, you will need it. Personally I found running southeast worked best, if he gets too close you can jump off the ledge and he'll run the long way around, so keep this in mind. the thing to watch out for is not resetting him when you do so (dot him just as you jump or keep your pet on him).
Pop infernal when his meteor lands (two meteors in a row, you'll see) and sick him, load up on dots and start running. Your infernal is immune to fire so no heals needed, dot and sbolt until you get aggro. Curse of tongues him and kite, use drain life when he uses incinerate, you should get to 75% np. He'll stun you and have his dialogue. When the kitty comes out you'll still probably have aggro and die, SS or just corpse run and when you get back make sure to get full mana/hp before you start again. Stand on top of the cat to get your debuffs cleared periodically.
Again, dot and drain, keep yourself topped off, you should kill him before the cat dies without too much trouble.

Very easy as enchancement shaman - Use Wolves, Bloodlust (not really needed). Then just do your normal rotation, healing yourself at 5 MW procces, if needed. For me, a really averagely geared 78 one, it really wasn't hard.
(I actually had more trouble soloing it on the protection paladin!)

Easily soloable as 77 retribution paladin with Northrend greens and blues.
Blow avenging wrath and just DPS him down to 75%. Heal yourself when Art of War procs. Cast Divine Plea at 76%-80% of his health or so.
After the cutscene, just stand right under the cat to get the heal aura. DPS as usual and heal when you need to. Don't be afraid to bubble and heal if it gets close.
Good luck!
P.S. I used devotion aura with Seal of Command, but Seal of Blood would probably have been fine, and faster :)

It was very easy fight with an unholy 78 DK. I was spaming Death Strike and Anti-Magic Shell all the time. Also try to stay in the Har'Koa's tranquility. I think most of the classes could solo this easily.

Soloed as a 76 feral druid in greens/blues. Found out to my dismay that he was immune to stun after the pounce went off so I immediately switched to bear form. Once the DoT started stacking up I popped Barkskin, put all my HoTs on and did a healing touch to get back up to full. After that it was just a race to get him to 75% on my own.
Once Har'Koa came out I dropped as much aggro as I could and let her tank it for a bit. Once enough time passed, I went in to cat form and dpsed until I took aggro and just went back in to a bear. Never really had to use Frenzied Regeneration or any other cooldown, just had to beat the dps race.
That said, I only had about 13k health in bear form, so it didn't take amazing gear, or even decent gear (at least for a feral druid nowadays).

Defeated as a L79 Frost Mage with gear that was all gained from Northrend quests, so basic green/blue stuff.
First I cast dampen magic, ice barrier, and fire ward. Then I summoned my Water Elemental, then I summoned the mob.
Then I ran to the steps on the edge and made my Water Elemental attack, after that I blinked across to other side and cast Icy Veins and started blasting away.
Naturally the Water Elemental goes down fast, but I kept casting Ice Barrier+Fire Ward and I might have used a health potion. Then I had to run around in circles a bit to get the mob down to 75%.
Har'Koa appeared, I went under Har'Koa immediately for healing. Cast Ice Block and waited for it to end... then I casted Invisibility to lose all threat. Then I cancelled Invisibility.
I summoned my Water Elemental again and made it attack and blasted away myself. I was able to get the mob killed before Har'Koa died.
Quite easy when you get it right, but you have to be quick on your heals. Hardest part is by far when you have to run around a bit casting fireblast / icelance to get the mob to 75%.

Frostfire mages can solo this one. As soon as you summon him, turn and Blink to the nearest set of stairs. keep Living Bomb up all the time (except for when it ends while casting), spam Frostfire Bolt. basically, you'll want something like this:
Ice armor
Mana shield
Summon Akali
Blink to the stairs
Living Bomb
Frostfire bolt
Mirror Image
Scorch (assuming you have improved scorch, otherwise just FFB)
Frostfire Bolt till dialogue, refreshing imp. scorch when necessary
Be sure to Blink through him when he gets near you, or you'll take about 1,5-2k of unnecessary damage.
When the dialogue hits, wait for Har'koa to attack, then pop Ice block, straight after, invisibility.
After this, wait about four seconds before you attack again, hug Har'koa, then:
Icy Veins + haste/damage trinket (depends on what you have), and nuke Akali fully.
I made it out with just over 2k of my 13k, due to me choosing Molten armor and critting too much >.<
Dont forget to refresh mana shield when you think you need to and keep fire ward up whenever you can.

Soloed him as a 75 dk blood spec in frost presence with 14,8k hp. Mostly green and blues. Poped Mark of blood when he was on 105k, and just kept plague spells on him to heal with death strike. Died once, but made it. Not that hard if you can play dk.

Soloed as a 75 feral druid in tanking quest gear, with the 2her from the Ampitheater of Anguish.
He's one tough adversary in the first part of the fight. Don't stay in cat form for too long, because you will die. Blew all of my cooldowns and a runic healing potion to stay alive in the first 25%. Berserk works like a charm in Bear Form.
After he hit 75% and the scripted event was finished, I demorphed and cast Shadowmeld to lose all of my aggro. From then on, use Cat Form, and try not to steal aggro from Har'koa. Was able to easily kill him before Har'koa died.
Though beware, he is immune to stuns. So unless you just want the DoT, you may want to reconsider using Pounce as your starting move.

Solo'd with a 77 warlock. Very EASY! In demon spec, just stand in the corner healing your felgaurd while he tanks away. Cast some spells now and then and drain life to get back the hp you lose from the fire balls that he rains down on you.
Once the kitty arrives, from there its a piece of cake. Best of luck you 'locks! : )
