Here is a little tactic on this boss:

He has 2 major abilities.

1. off he summons a whole bunch of small eplosive devices, (Like first boss in Mech), wich explodes at random intervals so avoid them.

2. He pulls the whole party to him and summon alot more explosives so this would be a recommend time to run away.

This is my first impression on our run so i will update when i have done it more times and have more of an overview.

I believe (not sure) that when he charges the orbs everything inbetween gets hit by the lightning. So people should move out when they see they're between charging orbs. I will confirm this later and re-edit.

This boss if easy for everyone but the healer. Tank him in the center. Avoid the orbs once they stop as they will exlode shortly after. He also casts Magic Pull which brings all players up to him. Run back to a safe location after this as he will spawn several orbs after pulling your group to him. The tank will occasionally be tossed into the air by Thundering Stomp bit it is nothing to worry about. Keep dancing the dance and he'll be dead in no time.

After this boss dies 3 NPC will be freed from the cages on the same platfrom as Drakos. The one on the left will give you a Emerald Drake. The one on the right will give the Amber Drake. The center NPC gives the Ruby Drake. The Emerald Drake is your healer later on, the Amber is your DPS, and the Ruby is your tank. I suggest 1 Ruby, and 2 each of the others.

Wonderful tips you guys. I kept dancing around him and avoided dying. However these tips work best if your group listens to you and doesn't laugh when you try to inform them but however. Less of a repair bill for me. Those explosives are easy enough to avoid. It's those magic pulls, but being a hunter I use it as time to drop a trap nearby and run away.

Trying to solo on normal mode with a prot warrior 226-245 gear. I couldn't make it, I got a lot of damage, pretty much soloable for a paladin or a druid.
