When in War Mode, and Malicia announces, "There's a killer on the loose! You should let them know what it feels like. Go get them!" That indicates that someone in your zone has reached "assassin" rank. Assassins have scored 25 World PvP kills, while having 0 deaths. An Assassin is revealed on the map so they are easy to hunt, but they do get some performance buffs. If you kill an Assassin, you get greater rewards than a normal PvP kill.

Getting Assassin rank and killing an Assassin both reward an achievement.

I've found most of the time when there is one Assassin, there are probably a group working together to dominate individual players, 3 vs 1. But to even the odds, once they are revealed on the map, you can co-ordinate with everyone in the zone to kill them, using the zone chat. Announce in chat /1 Need people to team up to kill assassin, message for invite. Meet close to them on the map. It usually works within a 5-10 mins depending on population.

Hi, quest giver seems to be missing. Any idea why this would happen ? Can't turn in quest because of this. Anyone had the same issue ?

She offers the upgrades from Blue/Rare Drakebreaker's XYZ (pvp gear scales to 408) up to Purple/Epic (pvp gear scales to 421).

I have a piece of blue pvp gear I got in WQ that procced at 369 (beats 350 via vendor) with a gem socket. I am deeply reluctant to trade it in as I rather enjoy the gem socket.

Has anyone had experience, for good or ill, with trading up and finding out any socket or tertiary gets kept or not?

Did this vendor stop selling the upgraded PvP gear now that 10.0.5 is here?

EDIT: I bought the 366 shoulderguards off the lower level vendor for bloody tokens and tried taking them to the Item Upgrade person, Corxian in the Gladiator's Refuge and got the message "This item can no longer be upgraded".

EDIT 2: Following the instructions to put the trophy's of strife in my bags, I was able to upgrade them at Corxian! Thanks all!

Yes for me same remove it from ( Malicia ) but still you can upgrade in same room with ( Corxian ) the one upgrade mythic and pvp gear

As of 10.0.5, any item you buy from this vendor can be upgraded via 考尔克夏恩, the upgrade vendor within the same room. Same item levels apply. 366/408 to 385/421, rare to epic quality.

Malicia is also a spanish word, and can means:

1. Covert intention with which something is said or done to benefit something or harm someone.
"a crime with a high degree of malice"

2. Quality of the malicious person, who speaks or acts covertly to benefit or harm someone; It is also attributed to animals.

A very appropriate name for someone who is ordering to kill players. :)

By the way you can use the trophy of strife to upgrade your weapons to epic ilvl 447! Looked all over wowhead and google and didnt any info on if it was possible, so i tried it out and worked!

I thought Malicia was supposed to sell Scalewarden's Flame ? It is best in slot for resto druid off-hand and Malicia is only offering Hellbloom gear. Hellbloom Branch has the same stats but doesnt go to 489 in pvp. Anyone know why Malicia doesn't offer Scalewarden's gear but it is where wowhead says to buy it
