My theory on how his name came about is as follows.

Qiff is a green goblin, but notice how he is in Area 52 and not any where else.

Kif Kroker of Futurama is the personal assistant to Captain Zapp Brannigan.

With him being in Area 52 and in Netherstorm, one can safely say that they thought of this name by none other than watching Futurama.

To sit and actually wait for the spawn of the Khorium Power Core is horrible!!! I been at the spot for over an hour and no core yet. Luckily I had snacks to keep me occupied during the wait. Le sigh!

Been camping that Khorium power core for more than 2hours now. The other stuff he sells has: a 20min respawn on bolts, aprox 60 mins on adamantite frame and flares. Khorium power core - still waiting...

ye, the Khorium power core has a really long spawn time about 5-6 hours, you've to be lucky to get one. - Around 50-90 gold on the auction house.

I logged on the second the realm went online and headed straight to him. He had no Khorium Power Core nor did he have any of Adamantite Frames either. Either there was a rogue camping near him, or it's just... that he doesn't sell those items anymore.

I bought a khorium power core about 3 days ago now, so perhaps blizzard suspend certain items from respawning whilst the server is down, I'm not too sure how they do it. All I know is I got one!

well ive been checking all day seeing as how blizzard finds enjoyment in torrmenting engineers with nearly impossible mats to farm. i was able to buy one but havent been lucky again. whatever the respawn time for it is, i will guess its somewhere in the range of 1 every 12hrs at least.

Made 4 khorium power cores myself, and while i was getting the mats for 4 more i stopped by him, and guess what, the power core was still avaideble ^^ Lucky me ;P

But the respwan time of these things are quite hard, probably best if I just get the mats myself, maybe I got luck the next day or something, but I guess this is only a one in a million luck of me... xD

Does Qiff still sell the Khorium Power Cores? I've been camping him for at least 5 hours (checking every now and then while doing other things) and I've seen him restock flares, fel iron casings and bolts, admantite frames but no Khorium Power Core. I just want to know if I'm wasting my time. I just want one for the netherwing quest with the soul canon.

Camped this guy for 6 days now (on Neptulon-EU). Haven't seen any Khorium Power Core still. Neither are they appearing on our auction house, so I find it unlikely that they might secretly be snatched away in front of me.

(My camp: Character standing at the vendor (Qiff), doing other things alt-tab, and checking the vendor roughly every 20 minutes)

What do I have to be, to get one Adamanite Frame from from Qiff? The list set forth is about half of what Qiff has and no Adamanite Frame. A little more accurate information to get a quest done would be helpful.

I have camped this guy during work for over a week now. I have checked his inventory at least 200 times. I have gone to him immediately after 2 server resets. I have purchased 30 adamantite frames from him. I still have not seen a khorium power core and am currently finding it hard to believe that he actually sells it.

Haven't seen a felsteel stabilizer on him either.

EDIT: Ok my efforts finally paid off - I got a Khorium Power Core today. I've submitted a screenshot to help others believe.

Khorium Power Core is not sold by him if your not a engineer, or is not sold by him at all as of 10-30-2011

Bought a Khorium Power Core from him on 11/09/11 at about 3:17am local realm time. If anyone has any doubts that he no longer carries this item, this should help clarify that it still spawns on him. It just has a long respawn timer, and you have to get lucky when you pay him a visit.

In any case, it's not worth taking the time to camp him for powe cores. You're better off mining in outland for a while.

If you don't have mining on any of your toons, I would highly recommend rearranging skills on one of your toons to have mining on one of them, or making a toon, and giving it mining skill for one of their professions.

There's no Adamantite Frame and Khorium Power Core on that guy, at least I did't see them. Maybe this will save your time :)
