Found him located southwest of The Dead Mire. Sporewing has a Spore Cloud abililty that is nature based that lowers 15% of your armor and periodicly deals poison damage.

He is fairly easy to solo. He also has a very fast respawn rate, as he respawned and killed me while I was writing this. :(

I would like to suggest everyone looks at the screenshot. I ran past him about 30 times because I was looking for the more common bat and not the new Outland Bat.

After looking at the screenshot, I was able to return and solo him very easy.

Found him at 76, 45.

Small pointy piece of land, directly west of the tower icon (the disabled pump). Of course, in the dead mire ;)

Coord 76, 45 was where I found him as well, next to a fallen log. Two of his corpses were there, suggesting a fast respawn.

Found Him at 77,47 he patroling the area southwest of the pipes that have dried out Dead Mire.
He doesnt even need to be CCed. Me and my Water Elemental killed him in 10seconds at lvl62.

Definatly easy to solo, did it as a 61 war. It did less then 50% damage to me.

Not a lot harder than other spore bats, with the exception of the spore cloud which does about 150 nature damage every 2 seconds, and reduces armor by 15%

He is the only spore bat who is aggressive but he isnt so tuff.My 62lvl Paladin killed it easily.79.2,47.7.-Thats where i found him

Sporebats, when tamed, have a useful ability against spellcasters, which is quite handy both in dungeons and battlegrounds with 15+ players on each side. The ability is an AoE effect: "Dusts nearby enemies with spores, reducing the casting speed of all enemy targets within 6 yards by 30% for 10 sec" and has an 8 sec cooldown, i.e. a perma 30% casting speed reduction.

The easiest way to find him is using the following macro. Just fly around the SW corner of The Dead Mire and keep clicking the macro. You will hear a raid warning sound and will get a visual warning as well when he is near. It will also target him and show him on the mini map.

Found Sporewing at coordinates 78.24, 45.55. No cloud formed but killed him fast using my 85 DK working on Lorekeeper.

In patch 5.1, a rare Sporebat is getting added to EPL that uses the same color.

Now provides a raidwide buff of 5% spell haste (only pet that currently gives this buff) and is tamable by all hunters.

So I hit Tame Beast before dismounting, forgetting I had a pet summoned. About 3 seconds into the cast, my pet one-shot it. Great. Just like when I tried to tag Arcturis. Sometimes, I hate playing my hunter.
