As I've posted elsewhere, currently, if you want a Moth and you've not yet reached Outland, the Vale Moth is sadly your only choice.

If you're hoping for a blue moth such as this, you must wait until level 68 and tame one of the Shimmerwing Moths in the Eco-Dome Midrealm of Netherstorm.

As of patch 3.0.8 this and its older brother Royal Blue Flutterer are now both tameable without the beast mastery talent.

Edit: Just got this on my level 10 hunter, so cute ^_^ But a total pain in the butt to grab--a very long run full of corpse hopping and intentional drowning made this a real challenge. Next time, I'll wait until I have the Zoram Strand fp and aspect of the cheetah. If you do decide to grab one of these babies, when you get to Auberdine in Darkshore, swim out to the very end of the pier (center boat) and drown. Run back and wait to rez. Once you are on the boat, you can rez...there are guards but they did not attack! After that, all you have to do is work your way to Bloodmyst Isle. Allowing guards to kill you outside of the Exodar will quickly allow you to rez in northern Azuremyst by the Stillpine Hold and save a lot of running. Good luck!

It's the ship to the RIGHT of the portal. The one directly ahead takes you to Stormwind. The one to the left doesnt go anywhere.

That being said, dont get on the wrong ship or you'll wind up having to run back to the Stormwind dock from the lumber mill all the way out in BummFluck near Redridge Mountains. At least when you enter the city as a Horde ghost it'll port you to the ship again (alive) and let the guards kill you again and port you to another neutral graveyard. The guards on the SW bound ship WILL attack, but not the ones on the Island bound ship.

Most trouble I have EVER had getting a pet, but at least now I'll remember which ship goes where!
