When I reached this stage on my 57 ret paladin I realized I wasn't going to be able to solo this though I did try and failed, I didn't fancy redoing the whole quest line on a ranged character and lacking any friends, I decided to do the same trick I used for Shadowmourne's Blood Queen quest, I brought along a level 60 warlock I have with decent gear and parked both toons above Great Mua'kin, I used a second account to invite but you could use the group finder to list a group, apply on the second toon, relog to the main character and accept, next I burned Great Mua'kin to 15k health from 100k+ and alt+f4, reloaded the game and logged in on my paladin and was able to easily down it while my warlock was still there with the VW tanking it.

It was by far the fastest way rather than redoing the whole chain, alternatively if you were smart enough to read the whole chain before setting out, either do it on a ranged character or bring a friend.

Sunna beach was tougher than i expected..but really not much of a hassle for a hunter who can solo torghast (any layer, any time, any week, any pet) in any 197 gear - running an efficient 5 fps.. . until next week maybe idk

This was a unique challenge to say the least as a Fury Warrior lol. For my fellow brown-classers, pretty much just cycle Bitter Immunity, Impending Victory, and Enraged Regeneration on cooldown. Use the PVP Talent Barbarian to have some good kiting power when you need to buy yourself time. Stall out your cooldowns further with Stormbolt and Intimidating Shout. ~~Dragon~~ err Thunderous Roar, Odyn's Fury, and Titan's Torment make for fantastic non-contact DoT damage as well. Took me 3 tries, but on that winning try, I was nowhere near as close to death by the end as I was with the first two. Good luck!

FINALLY got this guy as a cat. Been sitting on this quest since it was new. Finally, in Dragonflight at ilvl453, I got the freakin' anti-melee lobster down. Used Convoke the Spirits (talent) right off, then Berserk, and he went down surprisingly fast. A far cry from my pre-DF attempts where I died without coming anywhere near killing him. So if you're melee and have been sitting on this quest for a while, it's worth giving it another try and seeing how you do.
