Banshee Scream makes these mobs a distanced fight, but that seems to be all they do.

Do any kind of silencing abilitie or anything that stops attacks... Banshee Wail is a fast cast time attack which hits for ~40 damage. Make sure you have 100% health too

If you try to range these mobs, they spam a very powerful ranged attack, and they don't run out of mana. This can be bad for most ranged classes, because they don't have a lot of hit points. On the other hand, if you run up close to them, they will continue to spam this attack at melee range, and you'll probably aggro the two that were standing behind this one.

Your best bet is to fight them with a death knight, so you can pull them to yourself. Most lv 15 death knights don't have much difficulty with them in my experience.

These mobs drop The Lady's Necklace (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22597), which a start a chain of two 'go-talk-to-this-person' quests. After turning in the second quest to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, she will sing Lament of the Highborne.

To sum it up: this quest is a pain in the backbone because of the Fallen Rangers. Banshee Wail is their "racial ability"; it costs no mana, its fast and its spammable. It doesn't matter if you silence or prevent the spell, in a couple of seconds they'll start casting it again. My advice is to fight them one by one, and if you get an add, attempt to run away in fear.
