This is the man that greets the newly revived Forsaken. The Forsaken of Lordaeron have realized that the newly undead often find their first few moments of unlife to be rather frightening, so people like Mordo are assigned to make the transition a little smoother.

At least for the first few minutes. After that, he sends you off to find work in the town under siege by hordes of (weak) undead.

just turned my hunter into undead for ^&*!s and giggles and the help bar keeps popping up saying "Remember to visit Undertaker Mordo, he has a quest for you!" ... even though im lvl 80 xD(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Kangi##DELIM##

All new (willing) Forsaken are brought before Mordo, not only for comfort but also for inspection. Apparently Mordo is not accepting of Forsaken with missing lower jaws. He helpfully offers to locate new ones for the recruits.
