I saw this guy killed in Ogrimmar by a horde player. I dont know if the person made themselves purposely at war with the Cenarion to do it or if they had some quest related to it. After he died a huge ribbon-like magic spell flew up from him. The person didnt say what happened and no one could figure it out. :S

hey plastic lol i saw a guy lvl from 48 to 49 on this guy i asked em how he did it he said he was just majorly twinked and brought pots.

This is fun if you feel like being mean once in a while. :)

Bring a hunter, and randomly invite a lowbie to your group. Then declare war on Cenarion Circle and Misdirect the Emissary's aggro to said lowbie. :)

do not kill this guy.
he drops your rep so , it will make you unfriendly with the cenarien circle = no quests in silithus, no AQ, ect

if your smart do not kill this guy, unless you are level 60+ in outlands and dont have to go back to silithus/AQ

I keep killing this guy in hopes that he'll start aggroing when I walk by. Anyone know if this will work? If so, what rep level?

Since his HP is substantially higher than Gamons, he is far easier to kite safely. I have gotten him as far as RFK before lagging enough for him to drop combat.

A useful thing to do is to trap him constantly while kiting, made easier by the Beast Lord 2 set bonus as well as some survival talents.

All the following encounters are listed and detailed for level 1 twinks. Non-twinks are recommended to stay away from these encounters entirely.

Cenarion Emissary Blackhoof

Difficulty: Hard (7/10) - 25-man
Gear: Twink (7/10) - Requires all non-soulbound gear.
Blackhoof has no tricks or abilities, and is a rather simple encounter. You will gain 3 XP with a full group of 25. You will also lose 25 Cenarian Circle Rep.

* It is advisable to spread mages out and time casts so Blackhoof will take damage and switch aggro before dealing any damage.
* Remember to attack Blackhoof in the back for Melee damage to avoid being parried.
* Healers should be prepared to heal a lot during this encounter.

Attunement:
This encounter requires a level 1 attunement of a sort.

* Have a level 70 hunter with Misdirection in your group.
* Have the hunter cast Misdirection on you.
* Have the hunter aggro Cenarion Emissary Blackhoof and he will attack you.
* Once dead, have the hunter kill Cenarion Emissary Blackhoof.

This will add Cenarion Circle to your reputation list at 2975/3000 Unfriendly and allow you to set it at war.

Another way to add the Cenarion Circle to your reputation list is during the lunar festival. You only have to do Quest:The Lunar Festival quest and recieve +5 reputation with the Cenarion Circle.

a really mean way to kill lowbies works as any class that has moves that can get aggro without grabbing to much aggro
Stratagy way for priests: get aggro on the guy, ask a lowbie to heal you, once they do use Fade and he'll go right after the noob who actully fell for it! 1 heal cast and they are already dead! (Ways to get aggro is Mass dispel, Mind Control, or fearing him!)

If you're hostile / hated with the circle and he jumps you anytime you walk by...isn't there law in Orgrimmar? What the hell are those grunts doing? Polishing their nails?

Did this trick yesterday on my DK.
Some gullible lvl 33 pally was asking for gold, so i told him to wait by the bank and to heal me when i got there, then I give him the money. I invited him into a group.

I declared war with the Cenarion Circle and taunted Blackhoof. I kept running and taunting him over to the bank where the pally healed me. I then left the grp and watched the gold begger die.

Make sure to run away after leaving the group, Blackhoof will re-aggro on you.

Gold begger killers rejoice! This is still possible!

Whoa! This dude had like 1.7k hp prior to 4.0.3a and me and another lvl 1 twink hunter friend were able to kite him around in Orgrimmar and eventually kill him. Imagine how much time that would require today with over 400k hp to zerg with 2 lvl 1 twinks!

What else does this NPC do in Cataclysm? I saw a warrior talk to him and teleport somewhere,but when i talk to him all he says "Are you here to help the cause? Mount Hyjal burns!".

Does anyone know if the shoulders he's wearing are available in game? If so, what are they called?

The shoulders I believe are the druid tier 2 shoulders, Stormrages Pauldrons, off Chromaggus in BWL. (怒风肩甲)

For non druids, you can get 月爪肩甲, which dropped in the Mechanar, off this boss http://www.wowhead.com/npc=19219.

I know this is extremely old news, but I still felt I should lament the days of kiting fun that were had back when he was a Cenarion Circle NPC.
A shame they had to shift him to Guardians of Hyjal.
