He summons bigass demons through a portal, so I imagine he's impossible to 2-man. We 3-manned him but wiped on the adds.

As said, take him into the building.

If you move him into the adjacent room when he creates a portal, the demon wont add (although theres not much room to move :P) and you can kill him by himself.

He does a rain of fire AOE regurarly so avoid it if possible. He spanws a demon lvl 68 elite when at 50%. If you by chance die and killed zuluhed but not the demon, don't CR, wait 2-3 minutes till the demon dies automatically. The corpse will still be there for looting.

Once you start the Netherwing daily quests, you cannot attack this guy...so no helping guildies get to neutral :(

When I came through and was doing this quest to help out some guildies, and then random players that had helped me earlier before they had had their epic flier, I was quite surprised to find out (at least, at the time), that the demons he summons will keep coming if you don't complete the encounter. By the time it was all said and done, we had around four or five Pit Lords sitting on the balcony near Karynaku before they all despawned.

Nearly 2-manned him with an affliction lock and a shadow priest. Didn't have to touch the adds since we kept moving room to room (cleared beforehand). Since we wiped, we grabbed two rogues and a warlock that were nearby, and obliterated Zuluhed -and- one of his elite adds. Cake.

2-Manned by hunter and druid, really easy. Avoid the archer adds (They despawn after a while), hunter melee'd boss down slowly, move him around to avoid demonz.

Tried to 2-man with a priest and a warrior, can heal through the elites no problem but apparently if 2 or more are fighting you at the same time he uses it as an excuse to dissapear. Kiting I had as much as 3 up before I ran out of room to kite him. I just dps him fast enough with two people (played by one character).

I managed to 2-man this quest as a Resto Shaman with a Subtlety Rogue. We had no serious problems taking him out, however the only issue that arose was that we managed to spawn 3 adds. We had two in the rooms and pulled another one back outside towards the hills. If you pop your rock elemental, he can easily tank the adds if you keep him and your other party member up. It was pretty easy.

I soloed Zuluhed as Feral Druid.

Let's take a look at his abilities:

Melee - 200-400 on 35k armor (75% reduction)
Rain of Fire - It's instant, he can still attack you while RoF is active. Deals 900-1100 fire damage per tick (every 2sec).
Doom Portal - Spawns elite demon. Spawned demons do not aggro if you are away from them when they spawn.
Demon Form - At 20% he starts attacking faster but I didn't notice anything else. Continues to use Rain of Fire.

Fight will take 5 minutes so refresh your thorns. You can use some elixirs, food and pots for extra help.

Tried to solo as a Holy paladin. Chugged alot of Super mana pots and still never downed him. Got him to 19% with about 10 portals and then the add's respawned and all jump me. Shame. Am sure he would be doable if I had abit better gear.

I solo'ed the guy today, resto druid with moonfire glyph, its all about using the fortress, when u see a demon portal just kite him away etc etc. Im full t6 so gear would help;)

Soloed as a retrib pally liv 74, using blessing of wisdom. Run far from his demonic portal, no need to use lay on hands

78 Ret PLD solo'd. Never stay in one spot when you see a portal summoned. Move out of rain of fire (The Fire Protection Aura, it does nothing!) Blessing of Wisdom. Judge Light/Seal of Light burn Art of War procs as they pop. Stay in doors, if possible. Not exactly 'easy' but there's harder things to solo.

Seeing as he is only level 72 with 85k health, this guy will be easy on 80. For decent geared people, at least.

it seems like the archers despawn after several minutes.

i just tried him with a lvl 70 prot pala for fun and decided to clean both rooms so i have more space to get rid of his portals. after i dumped the third portal in the right room i decide to cross the yard, ready to pop up divine shield to avoid the arrows, as i noticed that all of the archers where gone. despite the non-elite respawn, using the yard might be a valuable option for dumping more portals.

Soloed as level 80 retribution paladin, killed the guy. The 2 demons summoned killed me, ran back to pick up the key and there was no body to loot it from.
Guess I have to thank Blizzard for not managing to miss another occasion to screw it up.

Wasn't too difficult on an 80 Survival Hunter. Only had one add spawn on me and I just kept him frozen throughout the fight. The big demon he spawned didn't aggro me as I was far away. Serpent Sting, Explosive Shot, Lock And Load. Went down in about 2 minutes or less.

Heyaa people you know thats a quest chain we are all on to get that dragon at end what do you do after you kill that 72 ellite i spoke to that draogn and he ses free my children and i dont know wer they are can some one repley to me thanks :)

As 80 lvl DK its laughable...i cleared the tower pulled him, and casted Army of ghouls....no buffs no pots before ghouls despawned he was dead...killed the demon 2 by the way...

I did this last night as 80 SPriest, here's a little help if you play those squishy cloth classes :)
Even though this is a low level quest the archers still do considerable damage. As soon as you accept the quest run towards where you came in and run through Zuluhead and tank him just outside his building. From there the archers wont attack you and it'll just be you and him. When he spawns the pit lord, if your positioning is right you don't even get aggro. Just nuke him down from there and if needed use a health pot. Also be careful that you don't aggro the mobs outside his building, they can complicate things.

Easily killed as a feral druid.
After killing him the first try in bear form and having his corpse despawn on me, I decided to try and kill him in cat form.. Just pop Berserk and he literally dies in seconds. I didn't even have to use Barkskin.

As a level 80 mage i solo'd this on my second attempt.... first time i got him to 3k then i wiped... second time i did it! then died... :(

Soloed tonight as an 80 Arms Warrior. Used Enraged Regen but if I hadn't, I still would have survived. Killed him just as he opened his first portal; Just gotta burn him down fast.

Just soloed this as a arcane mage. Used one healing pot, and burned all cooldowns.
Not a big problem really, finished with 7k health. So this can easily be done with any class and some skill @ level 80.

as a beast mastery lvl 80 hunter, i simply put some few traps at the guy,sent my wasp to hit him and then managed to kill him +4 shamans +one of his summons and duh- one

took me less than a minute i think, he's been nerfed or something?

I find it utterly depressing that a character of such standing in the warcraft universe, the chieftain of one of the original orcish clans, has been reduced to a soloable level 72 mob.

Soloed as Blood Death Knight (Level 70 of course :))
492 def, 15.4k HP, 16.7k armor, 21.44% Dodge and 20.02% parry. All my gear is TBC gear (of course :p).
It was really hard since I didnt think of fighting him inside one of those rooms and that the elite demons spawned all the time.
If you are a DK just remember to keep diseases on all mobs and kill the un-elites asap. Also when you get many adds around you use Death and Decay for some extra healing (with Blood Presence (or Improved Blood Presence since I was in Frost Presence) its not much, but it helps!).

I also had to use every defensive ability a Death Knight has since I took a big load of damage. Also had to use trinkets and Icebound Fortitude at different times to keep my health up. Death Pact is also really usefull.

Im Htaedthgink-Wildhammer if you dont belive me :p On armory im using a WotlK neck becuase im not exalted with aldor yet. Used Shattered Sun Pendant of Resolve when doing this (even im not exalted with Aldor as i just said.).

Did anyone care to mention the untargetable orcs that spawn when he comes out? They constantly spew out arrows, and for me, that was a kill :/

Zuluhed the Whacked was one of the few remaining orc shamans within the Old Horde in Azeroth, but due to his consumption of the blood of Mannoroth, he did not embrace his true heritage and still practiced the dark magics prescribed by Gul'dan and the Shadow Council. Unlike his other Dragonmaw orcs he did not become a fel orc.

Zuluhed was apparently the last, and only shaman to accompany the Horde. He was eternally loyal to Blackhand during his reign as Warchief, and wished to remain so even after his death, so he pledged the allegiance of the small but powerful Dragonmaw Clan to Rend and Maim, the sons of Blackhand: an alliance assumed to be broken when Rend pledged the Black Tooth Grin clan to Nefarian's black dragonflight, most feared enemy of the Dragonmaw.
During the Second War, Zuluhed received a vision of a powerful artifact hidden within the Redridge Mountains, and requested permission from Orgrim Doomhammer to locate it. Despite Zuluhed's apparent loyalty to the sons of Blackhand — his chief rivals — Doomhammer believed that the elder shaman acted in the Horde's best interests, and agreed to allow Zuluhed and his clan to find the artifact in question. Following the source of his visions, Zuluhed came into possession of what he called the Demon Soul. He assured Doomhammer that he would be able to unlock its powers, but this proved difficult even with the still-formidable powers of the elder shaman. Zuluhed decided to give the artifact to his Second, Nekros Skullcrusher, a former warlock, and with its power managed to capture the dragonqueen, Alexstrasza, and subjugate her red dragonflight. Alexstrasza, threatened with the death of her children, unwillingly gave the Horde an endless supply of her deadly progeny.
At some point Zuluhed returned through the Dark Portal to Draenor, and thus was not present when Alextrasza was freed and the majority of his clan destroyed at Grim Batol. He eventually pledged what remained of his clan to Illidan and enslaved Karynaku, matriarch of the Netherwing dragonflight, to provide drakes for his new master.

Solo'd this as a 70 Dwarf Retribution Paladin.

Accepted the quest and flew to the clearing behind where he spawns (killed the mobs there first). Pulled him back there so I could run out of his AoE. When the demon spawned I just kept DPS concentrated on Zuluhed. Health dropped lower but I popped Divine Shield and got a couple heals in. After he died, killing the demon was a piece of cake. Didn't use trinket, but I imagine it could have been a little quicker if I had.

My gear is full Brutal Gladiator's DPS set.

This guy is really bugged, and if you kill him inside a building, his body will vanish and you can't loot the key, and will be unable to complete the quest. You'll be forced to drop it, pick it back up, then kill him again. But it'll just happen again if you don't know what to do. The solution is for him to die outside, which will somehow magically make his body appear when he dies. But if you fight him outside, the archers will rip you to shreds.(3k aimed shot normal hits, can crit for 2x. They rip apart most lvl 80s.)

My solution on my 76 Rogue was to fight him inside, then take him out when he got to low hp. Had to kill this lame *!@# boss 3 times before being able to actually LOOT the key and complete the quest.

Zulu himself is pretty easy with all of my CDs. With a 20sec Evasion+Cloak(Glyphed)+Imp Recup, I was easily able to outlive him. When my defenses ran out I fired Rush and let him have it, easily finishing him off first. The issue was the body vanished. So I finally dragged him outside around 20% hp THEN killed him. Finally completed the quest. I'm sure most other classes would have a similarly easy time.

For anyone going back and doing this, he is isn't bugged. I killed him too fast the first two times. The trick at 85, and perhaps some other levels, to white hit him down. He needs to change into his demon form before you kill him. Once he does that, go for it, and you will have a body to loot. The best way is to still go off to the room on the side and kill him there.

Solo'd as a 70 Prot. Pally,
Took me about four tries, but finally I used a few elixirs, ( Str + 20, Stam + 20, Int + 30, Crit rating + 15 ) and one health pot and took him down.
Things I found useful:

Clear out all rooms beforehand
Go inside straight away.
Switch rooms as soon as he casts the portal (Demon doesn't pull then)
Avoid Rain of Fire as much as possible, moving around a lot really helped me.

But other than that, trial and error, don't freak out, keep your health happy and good luck!

I waited for an hour for this guy, tried questing in SMV in case it was phasing or something else. Eventually I dropped the quest and took it again and boom he spawned. My guess is that I was maybe flying when I took the quest initially and it bugged out the spawn. So give that a shot if you can't find him.

If you cant find him, abadon a quest and take it again. He will spawn right behind a dragon in middle of the square.
