Spawns outside of the hut with the escort quest. Not in the mountains. I did enjoy wandering around up there for 5 minutes, though.

I was trying to get the War Paint Gloves for transmog since he was listed as the highest drop rate. I killed him the first time and got some coins and silk cloth. He respaws rather quickly but, after that first kill, I can't loot him. He doesn't seem to drop loot after the first kill. I tried waiting for his body to disappear before killing the respawn, tried waiting on his guards to reappear and still no loot. Darn!

Kited to the alliance camp, the guards can't kill him or his grimtotem friends. Hilarious duel to eternity.
