Gubber is located under the flight path deck in Auberdeen. If you finish your quests he'll soon mail you a great starter fishing pole.

After completing The Family and the Fishing Pole he will start sending you mail

He will teach you fishing for free if you choose the dialog option after taking The Family and the Fishing Pole quest.

Not a big deal but when you only have 50 coppers,every bit helps.

Once you turn in his quests (I don't know if it's related to one, or the other, or both), he sends you a mail the following day. Attached to it is one shiny bauble. One. It is rather terrifically funny. Here is a transcript:

Hello there again. I'm Gubber Blump.

I hope you are doing real well. I hope you are still fishing too. I love fishing. The Blump family is known for fishing. Here is a bauble. So that you can fish a little better. I love using them when I fish. Good luck, and thank you again for helping me catch them groupers from before.

Keep on fishing!

Unfortunately, Gubber Blump is missing from the game in the current build of Cataclysm beta. The good news is he is not confirmed dead... if anyone has any information on this poor dwarf in Cataclysm let us know! Gubber Blump must have justice.
