Do not confront the nobles before you are certain. If you are wrong, the party will reset and you have to speak to the Rumormongers again for new traits.

Once you find the spy, he will take you to a balcony to speak to you in private. Kill the demon, loot the key, and you will be able to access the boss room.

So the clues I got the first time when I guessed wrong were very good looking, no cape, no gloves, carrying a book, and no long sleeves. I got this clues: left his cape in palace (just like half of the party goers) + Wears gloves to cover scars (just like half of the party goers) + isn't female (just like half of the party goers) >>> FAIL.
Then These: Dislikes capes & refuses to wear one + Always dons gloves + got a glimpse of spy's long sleeves + He is very good looking >>> FAIL

This was after other several previous attempts...

So i Decided to enter and just click individually one by one until I clicked the correct one > on 10.22.22 > at the bottom level > in the group of 4 to the left > the one furthest to the right !

There are 5 Rumormonger's that will give you clues.
The time I ran it the clues were: No gloves, no cape, short sleeves, female, dark clothing.
The guests that are possible spies have a white glow around them.
There are 18 guests to choose from, 10 downstairs and 8 upstairs.
This next step is very important!
If you guess wrong you will be ported out of the house and have to start over with a new set of clues.
Carefully inspect each one to verify all the clues are met before accusing them of being a spy.
After you accuse them the spy will take you to a private location where the spy will transform into a demon.
Kill the demon and loot the key!
Use the key to unlock the upstairs room then kill Advisor Melandrus.
