Unsure of what professions you should go in Dragonflight? Here are Wowhead's recommendations for gold making!
This article is aimed at people who want to make gold with their professions. However, with an expansion launch, the prices of things will be Volatile and more profitable things may happen. Stay tuned to Wowhead for updates.
Best Gold Making Professions for Dragonflight Launch
We'd recommend taking
Mining
,
Skinning
,
Herbalism
,
Enchanting
,
Inscription
or
Jewelcrafting
.
Gathering Professions
Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning
Traditionally, all three are good money makers, though normal Skinning products tend to see prices go down first, with Herbalism generally holding its own until mid-expansion and Mining products holding their value the longest. The introduction of Specialization trees gives new and interesting ways to make even more.
There are two ways to go with

for money making: refining (improving quality of) herbs and maximizing collection of Rousing Essences, the Primals of this expansion. Fortunately refining herbs to the highest quality in the
大丰收
tree isn't a huge investment. If you want to maximize your yield of Rousing Essences, make sure to invest in

to Overload herb nodes for more Essences. Rousing Essences you can collect with Herbalism include

in War Mode).
Like Herbalism,

is a rare side gather only from the other two mine deposits, and it comes more from Draconium deposits than from Severite, specializing on Draconium mining will also increase your
卡兹格罗金矿石
yields.
There's an intriguing build for

in Dragonflight -- The Crafter build with the

tree. This build has a couple sub-trees that are highly attractive for Skinners wanting to make money.

focuses on increasing the drop rate of species-specific drops. For example,

is is used in a ton of recipes for Inscription -- specifically the Draconic Treatises used for adding +1 Knowledge to any profession, as well as all of the armor-color transmogs for the Dragonriding mounts. While any skinner can get these drops, they're very rare unless you spec into this particular tree.

is also interesting, as it builds a crafting component into this gathering profession, giving Skinners the ability to make fish-specific Fishing Lures such as the

Enchanting
We'd recommend Enchanting due to the following reasons:
You are someone who is looking to make some extra gold without changing your current gameplay style.
You are to be self-sufficient and craft your own enchants for your gear and weapons.
A perk of learning Enchanting is the ability to disenchant gear and weapons. Disenchanting Dragonflight gear will provide you with

Enchanting reagents are notorious for being very expensive at the start of expansions. Especially

as there will be a limited supply of Epic Quality gear. As you complete quests, dungeons, raids, and loot creatures, you will gain additional armor and weapons that you do not need. Instead of vendoring those items for a few gold, disenchant them! All you have to do is post those extra materials onto the Auction House whenever you are nearby to make some extra income. Since the Auction House is now region wide for commodities, you should have no issue selling these materials quickly!

In addition to this, you can spend those extra materials on crafting your own enchants instead of selling them off on the Auction House!
Dragonflight Enchanting Specializations
Inscription
We'd recommend Inscription due to the following reasons:
Being able to produce Draconic Treatises like

for yourself and others. These give +1 Knowledge Points to the user which is incredibly valuable.
Craft brand new Dragonriding Cosmetics for everyone on your realm. Who doesn't love transmog and dragons!
Have access to craft and sell Darkmoon Decks and Darkmoon Deck Boxes which are very powerful Trinkets in Dragonflight.
Darkmoon Deck Boxes are a brand new Inscription item in Dragonflight. These are new and improved versions of normal Darkmoon Decks.
暗月套牌：地狱火
is the standard Darkmoon Deck that is BoE and can be purchased by anyone through the Auction House.
暗月套牌盒：地狱火
is the higher quality version that allows you to slot in new specific abilities that are available through the
Crafting Order System

Dragonriding Cosmetics mostly come from Renown or World Drops, this is great as you do not have to rely on Knowledge Points to unlock these items!

Jewelcrafting
As a Profession with a high potential for profit, we'd recommend Jewelcrafting due to the following reasons:

is setting up to be an extremely strong item, merely specifying "end-game,"
not
"crafted." This opens up the potential for it to be used on raid gear as well.
Jewelry such as

have extremely powerful effects, making them highly desirable items.
Jewelcrafting finds itself in a position to supply other Professions with high-tier Reagents - such as

for Alchemists and
光泽石块
for Blacksmiths.

based off these points.
Keep in mind that Players will eventually be able to learn every Specialization on one character- there are no wrong choices for which path you choose first. Play what you find fun!
Focusing on Jewelry will likely be the "short term big money" play - early on in Dragonflight's lifespan, Crafters who can create the highest quality and highest item level items will be in high demand. Those services will certainly come at a premium price- and with the Work Order system, it's entirely possible that Jewelcrafters won't even need to use their own Reagents. Learning BoE recipes will be a must, however, so be prepared to invest in your future by buying these Designs off the Auction House, or by farming them up yourself.
Consumables & Reagents are likely to be a more stable source of income- consumables are always reliable sellers throughout an expansion and patch cycle, and supplying
other
Professions with reagents for
their
consumables is likely to be just as profitable. Supplying Inscription, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, and other Jewelcrafters, these reagents have a wide range of coverage and use.
