Highlights

Q: Will the
Trial of Style
take place on a specific week of the year or will it be recurring like Pet Battle Week?
A:
Trial of Style
an event which happens in Azeroth "periodically" - a competition based on fashion. You enter a queue with 6 players total, you're given a theme to base an outfit on (Dark and Shadowy, Fun and Flirty, Epic Purple). You're given a couple minutes to do your outfit/haircut. You go up on stage in pairs, and the audience votes on your outfits. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places get prizes, everyone gets a consolation prize. During this time, Azeroth-wide, all transmog and barbershop services are free. This is not a micro-holiday, it's a 5 day event. This may end up being more than once a year. Depends on how it feels once it goes live. Maybe yearly will be the right thing, possible it's more often. Not planned to be part of the Bonus Week rotation.
Q: Why are the
Trial of Style rewards
just the rewards that are already obtainable in-game?
A: Since this was originally concepted as a micro-holiday, we didn't want to make it feel like you were missing out if you missed the holiday. Similar to other Microholidays, obtainable but skippable if you dont' want to do the Trial of Style. You may already have that transmog on your character. If you want to do the
Trial of Style
for fun, then you can still do it and that's fine. This is the first season of Trial of Style so things may change in the future. Eventually there may be more appearances you don't already have.
Q: Do you have any plans to allow hunters to put
enchant effects
on their bows/guns like other classes?
A: In the past, we didn't put enchants on bows/guns. When we built the
illusions
, we were just extending the weapon enchant visuals to be reapplied. We did not change that tech to include bows and guns, they weren't built that way. We do not have plans to do that as of right now.
Q: Are there any secrets in WoW that are still undiscovered?
A: Foreshadowing exists now in the game in places where you might not expect it. There are interesting things out there, even if they have been discovered, their importance hasn't been.
Q: Will we be able to get our
class mounts
after Legion?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you plan to add more
pet battle dungeons
? Or Raids?
A: There is a new one in
7.2.5 - The Deadmines
! We'll keep adding pet battle content as long as people are interested in it. We have lots of ideas and plans for ways this could go, as long as it remains worthwhile to do it.
Q: Official answer on the means of upgrading legendaries to 970?
A: This will happen not for 7.2.5 but when
Tomb of Sargeras
unlocks - almost the same time but not exactly. It will be a collection quest - emissary chests, raid bosses, pvp boxes, etc. You don't have to accept the quest to collect the quest items. If you happen to have old legendaries, this quest will take you from the original ilvl to 970 directly - no need to do the older upgrade quests.
Q: Will World Quest rewards be scaling up?
A: The base will not. When Mythic
Tomb of Sargeras
is released, though, the CAP will go up. They will be able to Titanforge higher.
Q: What is the interceded difficulty of
Black Temple Timewalking
?
A: This is a new feature! Timewalking raids! Your level and ilvl will be reduced, rewards will be for your actual level, like Timewalking Dungeons. This will be part of the
Burning Crusade Timewalking week.
This will be tuned closer to the lower side of Normal raids. The gear rewards will be commensurate with Normal ToS ilvl gear. Some groups might not be able to complete the raid but get a few bosses down and have some fun.
Q: How will raid groups be handled for
BT TImewalking
?
A: Requires a pre-made group. Ideally with your guild/raiding group, something LFR can't really handle. Queing in happens at an NPC in Shattrath.
Q: How many of the boss mechanics in
Black Temple Timewalking
are being preserved? Do I need to farm shadow resist gear? Can one person wipe us on Gorefiend?
A: No shadow resist gear!

Q: How do you feel about

A: Pretty good overall. It's about the right time. We do use the community as a barometer for this. Decoupling raids from patch releases has helped.
Q: What are "Armaments of the Legion" - reward from

A: This plan has changed - it's a new reward now. This was Weapon appearances for transmog. We didn't want to do a mount this time because we just unlocked
Class Mounts
yesterday! We went back on this decision because not every weapon appearance was ready (no daggers or fists, for example). This has been replaced with a title, . Those weapon mogs are available elsewhere -
they are currently available through Legion Assaults (the bosses drop them).
Q: For the
Great Gnomeregan Race,
did you coordinate with the player group that ran it previously?
A: In October, Level 1 Gnomes run from Gnomeregan to Booty Bay! There is also a community event, "The Running of the Gnomes" charity event, also happens in October. Yes we communicated with them. We wanted to make sure they thought the idea was cool and that we weren't stealing their thunder. We didn't want to steal the identity of their event (different names, appearances).
Q: Will the
Legendary
cap increase to 3?
A: No, we don't plan on increasing the cap. We will continue to balance them. Increasing the cap to 3 could make that balance harder, and also makes the whole process of "getting your
legendaries
" longer. 2 allows for some shifting of slots still.
Q: Why isn't the third relic slot available upon reaching 110 at this point?
A: No plans to change this. We do want that 3rd relic slot to be the reward for completing the class campaign. Pretty much every step has been nerfed, so we're fine with keeping this how it is. Lots of other things unlock at 110 immediately.
Q: Will there be any catch-up mechanics for Champion item level?
A: No plans as of yet.
Q: Will the
Deaths of Chromie
scenario be available every 3 days or like the PTR?
A: 110, single player scenario. Chromie finds out she's going to be assassinated and asks for your help in preventing that. Your level is 112 and you are at ilvl 1000 since it's the future! You have 15 minutes to prevent her death. Sadly this usually will not be enough time to save her. Fortunately, she can control time! You can play it over and over again until you can succeed in saving her. This will not be gated at all. You can requeue right away - no cooldowns, no currency costs. You may want to wait once a day because you earn Reputation with her and can fill out her Talent Tree. These require a day or two for her to learn so if it's too hard you may want to wait and get rep to teach her those talents.
Q: Will it be doable without currency?
A: Correct, no gating. You just need to be minimum 110 - in the future you can do it too.
Q: Will we see challenges like this (Artifact/
chromie
) added or expanded upon for more than 1 player? Why was
Chromie scenario
made for only 1 player?
A: Yeah this does exist in the game - instanced group content! Dungeons! For Chromie, this "problem solving" worked more for a solo player since it's about information gathering.

Walkthrough:
Queue up with Chromie at Wyrmwrest Temple. The initial quest to witness her death rewards

Chromie talks to herself at Wyrmwrest and......she dies in what seems like a coordinated attack.
You are then tasked with preventing this assassination.
You then queue again into the next part and speak with the Wyrmwrest ambassadors to collect information.
They ask you to investigate the different nearby Dragonshrines.
Bad news - Chromie dies again.
Speak to Chromie again to enter the Scenario proper.
You are in the scenario and tasked with selecting her Talents. At first it's an AOE stun vs. a Move Speed talent.
You now have 15 minutes to save Chromie.
There are NPCs at the Dragonshrines you can talk to who may have more information.
At the Azure dragonshrine you are looting

and you need 50 of them.
Other dragonshrines have different puzzles.
When you loot 50

you get an extra action button which starts a quest for you to find an elemental on the above platforms.
Chromie uncovers a

drops an item that begins a quest and a

. Sands of time allows you to choose between two different time lines (in this case a Reputation buff vs. a temporary buff, could also be extra time to the timer, treasure,

Return to Wyrmwrest
The quest item (Chronoshard) opened a portal to Mount Hyjal. This is one of many options.

). There are also new PvP Brawls coming - Temple of Kotmogu with extra haste, Deep Six which is BGs with only 6 people, and Packed House which is Arena maps with WAY more people.
7.2.5 has no final confirmation on the release date. Aiming for next week but not officially confirmed.
