Kyrian's Phial of Serenity Clears Necrotic Stacks in Mythic+

Necrotic can be a nasty affix for Tanks in Shadowlands Mythic+, but if you're a Kyrian Tank, you'll have an advantage in Mythic+ this week. The
死疽溃烂
debuff counts as a Bleed effect so Kyrian's Phial of Serenity can remove Necrotic Stacks and Kleia's Soulbind can make you completely immune to Necrotic for 8 seconds!
In Shadowlands,
死疽溃烂
stacks are a problem on certain trash pulls and bosses. While certain mobs have been exempt from triggering Bolstering or Bursting, no base dungeon mob seems to have been exempted from applying
死疽
. This means that for bosses like
斩血
or
多米娜·毒刃
which also have adds on the encounter, Tanks will be unable to reset their
死疽溃烂
leading to issues.
However, members of the Kyrian Covenant can use their
静谧之瓶
to clear Necrotic stacks, giving a full reset and hopefully enough time to finish the boss encounter and even some trash pulls that are unable to be slowed this week due to the
鼓舞
affix.
The other ways to remove
死疽溃烂
is for it to naturally time out or clear it using:
保护祝福
or
圣盾术
from a Paladin
石像形态
from a Dwarf
by dropping Combat
Soulbind Traits that Help on Necrotic
Kyrian's can also take a couple of Soulbind Traits to make their
静谧之瓶
more useful:
The
Pelagos Soulbind
offers
集中咒语
to allow your Phial to be up more often.
The
Kleia Soulbind
offers
晋升之瓶
to get 8 seconds of immunity to Necrotic stacks when you use your
静谧之瓶
!
Kleia's
晋升之瓶
is really cool and may be useful on certain pulls. Let your
死疽溃烂
stacks build up, then clear them with a
静谧之瓶
and be immune to more Necrotic stacks for 8 more stacks!
