The Carapace of N'Zoth and N'Zoth encounters have a very unique requirement -- If you do not have Wrathion's Legendary Cloak equipped, you will automatically be Mind Controlled on the pull.
Legendary Cloak Requirements
The Carapace of N'Zoth and N'Zoth, the Corruptor encounters are the last two fights in the raid and they both has a Sanity mechanic. Because of this, if you do not have your

equipped, you will instantly become mind controlled when the encounter is pulled and your raid will need to defeat you.
If you want to raid, make sure that you've unlocked and have the cloak equipped by completing the Intro Questline.

If you want rewards from either Carapace of N'Zoth or N'Zoth, the Corruptor, you need to tag any creatures that is part of the encounter before you get any rewards which includes:

Pieces of gear that are 10 Item Levels above the rest of the instance.
If you're getting MC'ed on pull, you'll be unable to tag the boss and won't be eligible for rewards!
