Nazjatar 8.2 Zone Preview - Capital City of the Naga

Nazjatar, the capital city of the naga, in an all-new zone coming in Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara. This is a large zone with new story quests, new and interesting friends and allies to meet and befriend, new foes to overcome, a variety of replayable outdoor content, and new rewards to earn including new mounts and even a baby naga!
Nazjatar is a much larger area than you may think due to the fact that it is multi-leveled. There are many ramps that go up and behind waterfalls and countless caves to explore. You can even climb on the tops of giant corals and parkour from coral tops to avoid some of the creatures below.
One of the greatest areas in Nazjatar, however, is the rediscovering the lost city of Zin-Azshari, where Queen Azshara once ruled over before the Sundering. We were able to see how beautiful this city once was in
Warbringers: Azshara
, which depicted the city moments before its destruction. Now we will be able to explore the destroyed city in 8.2 and even
interact with some of the ghosts
.
There's even an area pulled straight out of the cinematic. As the waves begin to crash down upon her city, Queen Azshara stands in the marketplace, saving a small area with her magic by keeping the waves at bay. Eventually, the force is too much and her magical walls crumble, as a nearby fish whispers to her to "let go." The impact of Azshara's magical bubble, as well as the skeleton of the fish, can be seen in-game.
