As of the June 14th hotfix, this (and the other head pieces from heroic scenario reward bags) now FINALLY has gem sockets (Meta and Blue).

The stats have been adjusted to compensate.

Old stats: 2210 Stamina, 1474 Intellect
New stats: 2210 Stamina, 1154 Intellect

With a +180 Intellect socket bonus, you gain 396 Intellect using a Burning Primal Diamond as the meta, more than making up for the 320 Intellect lost from the stats of the item itself.

Before the addition of sockets, this hat was junk compared even to a 496 non-tier helm. Now it's simming close to best in slot pre-raid.
