Drops of the shadowpriest. Decent for warlocs although not much stamina. Very good for shadowpriests and good for mages. Don't tell a mage not to role on this because of the shadow damage. The inetllect is very good for them

This is an item that drops off the Shadow priest at the end of the Pyramid event in Zul'Farrak.

It is probably one of the best mid level +damage items for both Shadow priests and Warlocks.

As well for mages the int bonus is superior to many other items at this level so it would benefit them as well. though i'd give to a shadow priest or lock first as it benefits them more.

This mask has alot of "bad mojo" in it but is pretty good for warlocks from the +14 shadow damage and all.

Attention mages: please stop ninjaing this item! I had it drop three times for my shadow priest alt. The first time it dropped, I lost the roll to a warlock. No problem, they can use it, probably more than I can. The next two times, mages took it. Here's a question: Exactly what shadow spells can you do? If you can't use the bonuses of an item, please don't take it over someone in the group who can.

Huge buff in 2.3, with the 14 shadow damage changed to 27 damage and healing (all schools), at the cost of 12 int.

Great item for all casters now.

Yes I just got the mask and it still gives +24 intelligence...doesnt seem to have changed in 2.3

As a warlock talking from experience, this is a great hat for all after 44+ right up to the lower 50's. It has very good +Spell Damage for this level, and it has a decent amount of intellect.

It may take a few times to drop from Shadowpriest Sezz'ziz but it's very worth it, and I can guarantee you will not regret doing an extra run or two of Zul'Farrack for this.

i was lucky my mate was random and i ran me through ZF at lvl 40 on my Spriest and got the mask 1st run i was stoaked lol i also got the staff all i need from there is the gloves xD

To put this into some sort of context;

Felheart Horns (T1 Molten Core loot) Has 20 spell damage and 20 int. I would admit its not got the 27 stam, and the useless 10 spirit and 10 fire resist, but ..... its a lvl 44 item :)

A great plus for any caster.

This must have a very low drop rate because I have done this instance 10 times with no mask.

I never want to do Zul'Farrak again, but I also really want this helm. :(

That item has VERY nice look, especially if you are undead :). It is also good for 27 spellpower, I have it on my 50lvl priest.

The Ruby Crown of Restoration is viable alternative to this item. You trade some crit for stam but you can use it at level 40 and you don't have to run ZF over and over.
