Taken From Old Guide:
Applies to Truesilver as well

· Blasted Lands: just do full circuits, simple.

· Searing Gorge: again, just do full circuits. You can do what I do and do a full circuit of the perimeter of Searing Gorge, then drop down into The Cauldron and do a circuit of that (inside and outside). Also remember that at level 230, you can mine Dark Iron, so pick that up too.

· Badlands: two good places here. First is Camp Cagg. Just do a circuit round it, taking in the Rock Elementals spawn point as you go. Second place is Lethlor Ravine. If you start by the Master Dragonscale Leatherworker and head into the Ravine and loop round to the north and back out and south past Uldaman back entrance, then you’ll pick up a good amount of Mithril.

· The Hinterlands: start at Aerie Peak and follow the cliff face to the south and east. Now just go around the south cliff face until your get past Jintha’Alor, then north up to Seradane and then west back to Aerie Peak.

· Western Plaguelands: do circuits of the Ruins of Andorhal.

· Azshara: start at the Legash Encampment and head east to the Bitter Reaches. Loop round to the north and back west along the coast past the Jagged Reef and then back down to the Lagash Encampment again.

· Winterspring: start at the Timbermaw tunnel entrance and follow the cliffs to the east past the Hot Springs and all the way over to Starfall Village. Just before you get there, head south to Lake Kel’Theril and then follow the cliffs west all the way back to your starting point.

· Felwood: only if your there. Don’t go out of way to mine here, but if you happen to be in the area (i.e. grinding Timbermaw rep) then look out for a few Mithril nodes here.

· Stonetalon Mountains: quick circuit of The Charred Vale can net you 10-15 Mithril ores.

· Desolace: grab yourself some underwater breathing potions and head to Ranzajar Isle. Theres a good number of Mithril nodes in the sunken ruins round here and very few people mine them. You can also take a run through the Valley of Spears and down to Mannoroc Coven to pick up the Mithril nodes there.

· Tanaris: bit of a long one this, but can be well worth it. Do full circuits of Tanaris, but drop down into The Noxious Lair and The Gaping Chasm to pick up the nodes that virtually nobody mines, unless they are questing in there.

Unfortunately, this is already grey in your smelting tab when you train Smelt Truesilver. Apparently blizzard finds it funny to harass us guys trying to level mining. -_-

I am surprised how much this is a good seller still. One of my favourite and consistent revenue generators. Don't make them into (unless you need bars obviously) bars and stock them in the bank so the market isn't flooded. Over the weekend put them on the auction in stacks of 5 and watch the gold roll in.

In Hinterlands, be sure to run past the troll camps. I got 3 or 4 Mithril and Truesilver by checking their camps. Did not see any inside of Jintha'alor but in the smaller camps.

I would like to add that the orgin of Truesilver is from JRR Tolkein's 'The Lord of the Rings' and is described as being the common name for Mithril, whilst 'Mithril' is the Dwarfish name.

'Mithril' is Sindarin (i.e., elvish, not dwarfish). It's also known as 'Moria silver.'

As of Cataclysm:
Farm this in Silithus. There are tons of nodes in an easy loop around the zone. I found substantially more in Silithus than anywhere else recommended to mine.

OK...I just did an entire loop around Silithus and internal criss-cross and found 2, yes TWO, Truesilver deposits. One was inside a den. Found plenty of Thorium deposits, though, if that's what you need! :)

Best places I found was Searing Gorge and Winterspring. Easy farming, just fly in a circle. In Winterspring there is no competition at all. Most of it was in the southern area.

So, post BfA event, there appears to be no Truesilver ore in Silithus, unless you speak to 希多尔米 at the north east part of the map to revert back to old Silithus. There is Truesilver ore there.

You get a ton of ore from this place, so it’s super good if you need a ton of Mithril, some Truesilver, and not to mention an arrangement of gems.The only thing you need to look out for is getting near a few horde NPCs as well as a small alliance campsite.

This is a contested zone.

I love farming this location because it nets a ton of Thorium, however, there are several ore in underground hives that I don’t go into. Despite this, the amount of ore you can get in this zone is great. Also, you don’t get too close to any opposing faction areas.

Horde (and maybe alliance too, or just use horede toon and send to your ally toon). For ore farming, First do the quest line for Fizzle and Pozzik's Speed Barge (/way 79.09, 71.89). Speak with Pozzik at Fizzle & Pozzik 's Speedbarge in Thousand Needles. You will get an underwater buff.

To speed up farming after the buff, You can put your feet on the bottom (sea bottom) and you will move faster. Just follow the edges of the area, beginning @ West Reach summit /way 11.22, 11.72. Starting on the left and working your way around and then do it again and again. Get Mithril, Gold and True Silver. Do not skip any ore you do not need, because, eventually it will turn into something else. Lather, rinse, repeat.
