At the current time on PTR this dagger scales with every buff instead of being a static damage. Potions, Trinkets, Procs, Eclipse, Moonkin form. Does not have an enemy limit either. Range seems to be around 8 yards. No internal cooldown. Average 15 seconds between procs when full nuking. 15% proc chance.

As of patch 4.3 (live) this dagger does NOT scale with any stats such as spell power or haste. The ticks CAN crit but appear to be around a 15% crit chance. So it's unlikely it's affected by your actual crit rating (i have around 45% on my mage)

The weapon proc is on a 15 second internal cool down and has a fairly high proc rate. it's almost constantly up.

The DoT effect from this weapon does not contribute to combustion damage for fire mages, and has a 10 yard range.

On a single target 85 heroic dummy, after 10 million damage the DoT from this dagger provided around 6% of my overall damage.

Very usefull when farming old dungeons for whatever reason.. (Cloth etc.)

Also the damage Molten Armor ( Molten Armor) deals to attackers when hit, apparently counts as a spellcast and causes Blast of Corruption (the effect of the dagger) to proc.

any increased magic damage, damage or nature damage increases the proc's damage (obv), as stated by others, doesnt scale with anything else (sp, crit, haste etc etc)
a quick list of effects that increase nature damage i could come up with is: (i wont add spells/effects that increase all ur spell/ or damage like Owlkin Frenzy Shadow Power Mana Adept
elemental shamans: Elemental Mastery Elemental Precision
balance druid: Moonfury Balance of Power Moonkin Form Eclipse (Solar)
