It's a BoE world drop, comments about where it dropped for you are pretty much useless, as all mobs have a similar chance of dropping it.

As the last comment here was 8 years ago, here's an Update!

Looted this item today from a Spire Spider in LBRS, so it still drops. Rather surprised as the Spiders and their hatchlings usually drop trash, spider body parts, or some kind of silk webbing. It's nice looking for a Leather User with decent stats.

On commenting about this drop: A previous poster noted it is a BoE World Drop but was rather dismissive of other commentators posting about 'what dropped it, where at', etc.

With all the Stat Squishes, Stealth Nerfs, rejiggering of various Mobs and their Loot tables, etc., some of the World Drop BoE's and various other drops no longer exist, drop from new Mobs, or different areas, whoevenknowswhattheHellBlizzarddoesanymore, so knowing something was seen or dropped from X, or in X area, can be useful to someone looking for that item. Some items seem to drop more often in certain Dungeons as well. Past that some commentators simply want to help if they can by telling WoWHead Users "Hey, I found X over behind a stump in The Pile Of Rotting Pumpkins". Posting such information may help someone figure out the general Level/Mob/Dungeon they need to be looking in to find that special bauble that would make them whole.

For this one, gonna find out if someone simply MUST have these spiky leather shouldpuffs.as part of their avant garde clothing ensemble. To the Auction House!
