I fished this in the Pools of Arlithrien on Teldrassil at lvl 10... But what does it do? Other than look weird when I'm holding a fish in my hand!

It doesn't do anything. You can equip it and carry it around and look cool, but other than that, it's has no use. It's just for looks.

Makes you look like a fisherman. I use it in jokes by linking its name on guild/party/regular chats.

These fishes aren't needed for anything. They are just rare (and big!) fishes which can be held in off-hand.

Can also be found at the hole in the ice on Iceflow lake in Dun Morogh. Now where is Captain Birdseye when you need him ??? ;-)

Fished one of these nearl Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore so it's definately not limited just to Elwynn Forest. Could be fun on a RP or RP-PvP realm.

Trained fishing on one of my alts, and fished it up in Elwynn forest first cast! It was kinda cool.

Looks like it 'sheats' on your back (except that it's not visible when 'sheated').

This is great for rogues before you hit 10 and get dual wield, at least it looks like you have an off-hand!

I fished one in pools at Shadowglen in 34th try..so it isnt very rare I think..

how much woud it be worth in the Auction House?

Unfortunately you can not use this in transmog for off hand items. Not yet at least.

How many of these have I got trying to grab the 15 lb version...
