Couldn't catch these with Fishing Skill lvl 1, in fact, couldn't catch anything in that River. Heading to Mulgore to start training and I'll try @ 75ish.

FISH RIGHT UNDER THE BRIDGE OUTSIDE ORGRIMMAR!

Go to the east side of orgrimmar or west depending on where you are facing and take the bridge outside near the aszhara area. If you cast off the bridge or get on a tiny piece of land near the bridge and cast under you will get this fish in 1 to 2 casts.

Went under the bridge as suggested, first cast (lvl 1 + bobber) caught 15 pound mud snapper, nice little achievement for that one. 10th cast i got the Pike. looks like you dont need lvl 70 skill as prev thought.

Make sure to fish for this in Durotar, NOT Azshara. After 40 casts at 581 with 100 skill bobber in Azshara I went to Durotar near the bridge out of Org and got it on the 3rd cast.

Yeah I got this on my 5th attempt and I was on lvl 17 fishing :)

Just barely north of the Org bridge, at 35.68, 2.33 - got it on my 2nd cast, 300 fishing, no lures.
