Almost all weapons dropped by the Lich King make reference to Arthas Menethil in his path of destruction before becoming the Lich King.

This weapon makes reference to the Archmage Antonidas, whom was killed by Arthas to retrieve the Book of Medivh in Warcraft III.

It seems strange that Arthas killed Antonidas and not KT, who was also present, as Antonidas banished KT from Dalaran when he found out that he was behind the plague in Lordaeron.

The problem with staves are the wasted itemization on stam/int.

Altho slightly less stats, Frozen Bonespike/Shadowsilk Spindle is a better alternative and MUCH easier to get.

If your guild is skilled enough to kill 25 Man Lich king you still have to battle with every other Caster/Healer for your wepons, so taking 2nd best is never a bad thing..

However, in cataclysm Intellect will be an extremely important stat for dps casters, and spellpower will only be used on weapons. Therefore a huge amount of sp + INT = probable win til at least Cataclysm raids.

Seems to have 141 Haste rating instead of the Crit rating. Was to be expected since the normal has Haste as well. Socket bonus is +9 Spell Power
