Pillars of Might (iLevel 264) are better than these... 2 less stamina when gemmed 30 sta in all sockets, almost 1000 more amor.

even the first posts math is off. 297 is only 32 less not 39 less. also if we wanted to compare them we could use wowheads item comparison.

these pants are more useful on sindragosa than has been mentioned. not because of the extra stam/vs armor but because of the hit rating. sindragosa is not a fight where you can miss on taunts so subbing in these legs, the hit neck off dreamwalker, the 277 tier gloves if you have them, and the hit cape off the blood council isnt uncommon. missing on both taunts can result in a wipe.

normal fights where you dont tank switch, pretty much every boss but sindragosa and saurfang, the pillars are going to be better. threat is not better than survivability.
