the mis-sockeling of gems has to do with the tradability of 3.2 - the 2 hours ... as mentioned before you have to enchant the item then it works.

concerning the item... i would prefer it as shadow. im not sure about it when im in disc/holy specc.

Note that this (and the 10man version) is the only "Holy priest" head item from the ilvl range of 232-258 with Haste on it, so Holy priests may want this over other head items if they don't need additional regen.

Edit: It's also very good for Disc because there are no itempoints spent on Spirit/mp5, but on throughput stats instead. Ideal if you don't have any mana problems at all, which is probably the case as Disc priest.

Unless it's been hotfixed in the last couple of days, it's still possible to earn the Onyxia (60) feat of strength by looting (not trading) one of the helmets off of Nef.

Currently, this helm does not count for the Vestments of Transcendence transmog collection, even though some similar helms from Onyxia do count toward other tier 2 (BWL) transmog collections for other classes.
