Got this today from The Black Knight in 5-man ToC (H).

The stats are as follows:

1723 Armor
+82 Strength
+78 Stamina
(Red Socket)
Socket Bonus: +4 Haste Rating
iLevel: 219
Equip: Increases Critical Strike rating by 40
Equip: Increases Haste rating by 60

I guess they updated all the stats when the patch went live and made it an iLevel 219 as opposed to iLevel 213.

It drops from the Black Knight in Heroic Trial of the Champion.

Best PvE shoulders for plate DPS outside of raiding, IMO.

If you don't need the extra hit rating that you get from the Valorous shoulders then these are a decent sidegrade, for melee dps. Ive passed on these a couple times because I still wear the valorous shoulders and need to stay within the hit cap. I may grab these the next time they drop just to see how they work out now that I've gotten a few more upgrades.

In my opinion, these are better than the Valorous plate DPS shoulders. A significant problem for a lot of plate DPS is excess hit, and haste, while by no means the best stat to gain, is still a larger increase in DPS than excess hit.

Just wondering should I replace my Valorous Redemption Shoulderplates for this if it means losing the 10% divine storm bonus for picking up more strength and haste?

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but this patch appears to have broken these shoulders. They now share the color of their tanking counterpart.

Which is greatly disappointing as they no longer match the rest of the set.

as of 7.3.5 found that you need more than one player in the group to farm these otherwise you will never get loot off the second boss. piled in another plate friend who didn't want them and we ran a heroic and normals until they dropped (for him), because of the loot changes and personal loot he was able to pass them to me. So, if you want to farm these up, grab a plate friend and spam normal until you get the appearence. the look alike boe's are currently selling for 200k as of the time of this post.
