You can receive these from Goldark Snipehunter or Glodrak Huntersniper during the Brewfest holiday. While you have these equipped, you are counted as being drunk; your movement is affected, your speech is slurred, and you can see Wolpertingers and Pink Elekks.

They do not have a duration and are not specifically tied to any quest, so it appears you can keep these for the Brewfest celebration. In-game, they carry the tag line "Requires Brewfest," so it appears they will be gone after the two weeks of the event.

The flavour text could also be referencing a lesser known show, Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This? In the opening sequence one of the hosts states,"The masks! They do nothing!" Wouldn't be a huge stretch for this to be about that.

Be aware of the posts stating you NEED this item to do the quest, you do not, if you don't have the goggles just get completely smashed off of strong alcohol and use 雷象消散射线.

Starting in 2023, picking up a free pair for the quest from Goldark Snipehunter will grant you the appearance. So if you just want the transmog, save yourself the 200 tokens!

Sometimes these will cause disconnects. I have tested for a few days. I only experience disconnects when attempting to fly with these goggles equipped. This may be from anti-cheat.

Note: It's not guaranteed to disconnect every single time.

note, they seem to of removed the brewfest requirement on the goggles, so there is a chance you will be allowed to keep them year round. i hope we can keep true drunk goggles!

I couldnt pick up Synthebrew Goggles in 2024. Might be bugged. However I did have a spare in my bank so check your bank.

Didn't have the coin for XL goggles which seems are the only ones you can buy this season. Lucky me, like Hotcore, had the old synthbrew goggles in my bank too. Every now and again, I'm grateful that I'm a hoarder with an overfull untidy bank lol
