Not 100% on this seeing as I am not on the PTR, but from the looks of it all of the new Argent Tournament weapons somehow relate to the different home factions.

This dagger looks like it is meant to represent the Undercity.

According to wowwiki it takes 13 days to acquire enough seals for this dagger.

3 days to get 15 Aspirant's Seals to become Valiant.
5 days to get 25 Valiant's Seals to become champion.
5 days of dailies to get 25 Champion's Seals for this weapon.

Haven't tested yet since my rogue is still 74 and that's only character i have at the moment.

You can actually get these 2 days earlier then what WowWiki says if you use the 10 champion seals that are given to you by becoming a champion.

It always great to see Blizzard implement more pre-raid weapons. Sometimes, the heroic you need isn't popular, or your luck is just bad. Either way, it is nice that 3.1 brought the Argent tournament and new weapons. So, how does this dagger stack up for Mutilate Rogues?

Well, as mentioned above, it only takes 11 days to get this dagger. The only other comparable pre-raid mainhand, The Fleshshaper, is a drop from the last boss of Heroic Halls of Stone. Here is the comparison. Below is what each weapon has more of when compared to the other:

Spinal Destroyer
22 Crit Rating (~.48% crit)
11 Hit Rating (~.33% hit)
2 Attack Power
.2 DPS

The Fleshshaper
22 Agility (22AP & ~.26% crit)
15 Stamina
11 Higher bottom end damage
17 Higher top end damage

Overall, the two weapons are very comparable (afterall, they are both ilvl 200). The The Fleshshaper does have 20 more AP, while the Spinal Destroyer has ~.22% more crit and ~.33% more hit. The slower speed of The Fleshshaper will translate into higher Mutilate hits, though not much higher. So, what does this all mean?

If you aren't trying to get the mounts, pets, or anything else from the Argent Tourney, and you can't get the The Fleshshaper to drop, than the Spinal Destroyer is a solid choice for a pre-raid mainhand.

However,

Naxxramas is an easy instance, and the easiest boss, Anub'Rekhan, drops the Knife of Incision. How does the Spinal Destroyer compare? Well, when compared next to each other:

Spinal Destroyer
6 Stamina
38 Hit Rating (~1.16% hit)
.2 DPS

Knife of Incision
19 Agility (19 AP & ~.23% crit)
7 Crit Rating (~.15% crit)
26 Haste Rating (~.79% Haste)
11 Higher bottom end damage
17 Higher top end damage

(NOTE: Anarchy was just added into the comparison for reference. It is ALWAYS the better choice for a mainhand when compared to the other daggers available outside of heroic raids)

Now, these weapons also have the same ilvl. However, this time, its obvious that the Spinal Destroyer is inferior. The Knife of Incision has 19 more AP, .~.38% more crit, ~.79% more haste, and bigger Mutilate hits at a loss of .2 DPS and 1.16% hit. Unless you need the hit to cap your special attacks (which, as a rogue, should only require 3% hit from gear, which is 98.37 hit rating; very easy to get), the Knife of Incision is better.

So, in conclusion: Spinal Destroyer is good if you can't get the dagger from Halls of Stone or Naxxramas. It isn't superior in any way, but its still a good weapon, and as long as you aren't saving your Champion's Seals for something else, you will be happy with this dagger.

So just a side note to duel wielders you can't equip 2 of them which i think sucks.

This dagger has a kind-of awkward speed at 1.7 but it is of epic quality, so I have a question that may seem a little stupid.

I own a Broken Stalactite, and it is at 1.8 speed but it is only of superior quality. However, its damage is lower than the Spinal Destroyer. I have always thought one puts the slower weapon in the main hand, but the more damaging dagger is the faster one, which has led to me questioning the old advice I usually abide by.

So, the question is, which weapon should I have in the main hand and which should I offhand to yield the best damage?

I know, somewhat nub of me to say, you can downrate me if you like. But, I am honestly confused and I think asking this question and having it answered correctly and accurately may help more people than just me.

Here is a nice looking transmogrification set that may fit well with this weapon. As you all know, this weapon is Horde-only.

Head: 玛洛恩头冠(Druid)
Shoulder: 茁壮护肩
Chest: 壮丽外衣
Waist: 茁壮腰带
Hands: 茁壮护手
Legs: 壮丽短裤(possibly)
Feet: 茁壮战靴

I was unable to locate anything else, or think of anything else that may fit to this set. If you want me to add to this set, please upvote or downvote this post and I will come check to see what has been posted. Keep in mind that these pieces are all leather. This list needs some Head and Back slot ideas.
