Currently this has been changed to Path of Frost.

Your Path of Frost ability allows you to fall from a greater distance without suffering damage.

Because it says it allows "you" to fall from greater distances, I imagine this isn't a benefit extended to your raid; meaning you'll still be pissed that the DK had Path of Frost on when you were all plunging into the water below, but now he might survive his own stupidity.

This can work in wonderful ways too, of course; I imagine it plays out like a Feral Kitty's Feline Grace, in that falling damage is reduced by 30% +/- of your current max health, but it could very well be that it increases how FAR you can fall before you take damage. (It has yet to be implemented.)

Glyph of Path of Frost allows me to jump off the Stormwind Mage Tower without taking damage, but doesn't withstand a fall off Dalaran.

So, it seems to just increase falling distance without taking damage... disappointing.

This might be a bug or working as intended, but this glyph DOES in fact cause party members affected by your Path of Frost ability to also be able to fall farther without taking damage.

I tested this by having a Paladin on the back of my two-seater rocket mount while jumping off of a cliff that would normally cause damage. Neither of us took damage. After canceling the Path of Frost aura and jumping off the same cliff, we both took the same amount of damage.

Very good for this, especially if you screw up the jump from Thunder Bluff and fall too far.

This could be pretty useful if your launched up into the air by an enemy high enough to take fall damage. (Let's say the fall is gonna take out 40 % of your health) Just pop Path of Frost and it'll reduce the damage from it significantly, just throwing that out there.

It doesnt completely prevent you from taking damage, but it helps you for about 30-40% less damage.

what is the distance increase for this? 10 yards? 20? ya'll are talking about the damage decrease, but the not distance increase...

If you don't take damage, you don't lose the Path of Frost buff itself, making this useful when you need to jump on water from a cliff.
There's a lot of that in Pandaria, while leveling.

Just tested this and the maximum fall distance to take no fall damage seems to be 20 yards. I tried dismounting above my target with my range display addon and 20 yards is right about where it started damaging me if I went any higher.
