Well an entirely reasonnable miss chance for white should be more like 19% if you have the reasonnable 5% hit necessary in pvp. Also you shouldn't take the parry/dodge chance in account in that totallity since you are supposed to hit your opponents from behind (& stun them) most of the time. A few hit might come from front but most from behind, whatever spec you have.
So let's say that 19% miss turn in a 25%.
You'll hit 75% of the time with your offhand. So with a 1.5 speed weapon you need 4 seconds in average (1.5*2*1.333) to apply your crippling poison with your offhand without the glyph. That number will of course drop dramaticaly if you are jumped and snared since there you'll have that dodge/parry back in the game.

Note : that we are talking about lower brackets without shiv.

There isn't that many glyph appealing for lower brackets this might be a good choice, but quite disapointing when you think this is a major glyph...When they say "we look at numbers when a glyph is never used we do something". Nobody is using that glyph, period...

With the advent of being able to poison Thrown weapons, does anyone think this glyph has some renewed potential for encounters where you absolutely must slow down large numbers of mobs or players?

Replaced Glyph of Crippling Poison (ie, if you're a scribe or a rogue who had learned Crippling, you now have this glyph instead).

In Warlords of Draenor, Glyph of Sharp Knives has been removed. It's description used to read:

Your Fan of Knives also damages the armor of its victims, applying 1 application of the Weakened Armor effect to each target.
