Are glyphs stackable? Can I get 36% increased damage since the charges will primarily be wasted on lightning shield charges (2-3), an earth shock, and the occasional instant cast lightning bolt.

i could think of better glyphs to spend glyph-slots on

for raiding i can see its usefulnes, if you have boomkin or elemental shammies along - but for pvp? i think there are better glyphs to get there

This is the best Glyph for an Enhancement Shaman to use (once you have the talent).

I can imagine this might be a very useful Glyph if you happen to be one of those all-out kind of nature-damage-dealing Enhancement Shams.

Sure, it affects the spells we all use under this build but, if you happen to be someone spec'ed and glyphed for use of Lightning Shield (which, I suppose, is far more useful/used in solo) you'd be increasing the damage of each charge (charges that cost you nothing other than a global cooldown to summon) by 8% each, as the tooltab states.

I'd argue it's good but it's probably not the absolute best for everyone. Two better questions would be:
- Do you specialize, in any fashion, for use of Lightning Shield? (and)
- What other glyph stands to be more useful than +8% damage all your nature abilities combined?

For leveling, I would only suggest this glyph after you get Maelstrom Weapon. Until then, its only use will be buffing Earth Shock and your Windfury procs. The 8% increase is nice sure enough, but you will get more total damage while questing out of both the windfury glyph (provides 10% more total procs, up to 22% from 20%) and the Lightning Shield glyph (which will be one of your biggest damage suppliers while leveling, especially if you a) talent points into improved shields and b) like to pull more than one mob at once).

This seems to have been forgotten with the changes to Stormstrike. Being as it now grants a 25% increased crit chance with LB/CL/LS/ES, I wonder if this will simply increase the crit chance (when it is updated) or provide some other nifty benefit.

Edit: Apparently there are reports that it should be +8 to nature crit. I suppose we'll see soon enough!

Stormstrike increase crit chance of you lighting spell by 25% (33% with this glyph)

Although you won't have Maelstrom at low level, you could have element devestation! which I suppose can proc from Lighting shield.

Basically,
element devestation increcase melee crit, cause more
flurry, cause more
maelstrom weapon, cause more
element devestation, then repeat!
(Maelstrom don't affect Lava Burst by the way)

Basically this Glyph cause this cycle go more often, With the Enhancement mastery , It seem this will be valuable to enhancement, at least those like mastery rating

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.

OLD: Glyph of Stormstrike - Increases the critical strike chance bonus from your Stormstrike ability by an additional 10%.

NEW: Glyph of Spiritwalker's Grace - Increases the duration of your Spiritwalker's Grace by 5 sec.
