sadly it has very limited space to fly in, else it would be a free epic flyer that could be summened in battle... you dont get dismounted flying inside either..

handing in in a sec.. om gonna miss the bugger ... bye gryphon *cries* :'(

I have shared this knowledge many a time ingame and never once thought to share it here, so here goes.
For those of you who, like me, have not bought your Northrend flying skill (I infact have not bought my outland flying skill either on my main) you can use this whistle to summon a gryphon which will give you access to Naxx. Ontop of that it will also outfly (100% of the time if you use the speed boost ability) any epic flying mount (to my knowledge at least).
My advice? KEEP THIS ITEM, do not turn the quest in until you have enough money to buy your own flying mount, or unless you have a very kind guild/raid that will always summon you back after a wipe.

Note that while you have this whistle, it is possible to fly to Naxxramas, so if you wanna get there, it is possible to reach it without purchasing Cold Weather Flying ;)
