Rare catch from Steam Pump Flotsam in Zangarmarsh. The alliance quest requires the part to be delivered to K. Lee Smallfry in Telredor.

It's another Serenity/Firefly reference: In the movie Kaylee, (K. Lee Smallfry) says, "Don't ride in anything with a Capissen 38 engine, they fall right out of the sky."

Horde can indeed "catch" the part, however it does not start a quest.

It does, however, sell to a vendor for 10g.

Unless it's a glitch, this quest does not count towards Mysteries of the Marsh.

Came across this whilst doing the Scavenger achievement through fishing and I was overjoyed as I am stuck at 50/52 for the quest line in Zangermarsh, however once I handed in this quest I noticed it did not count towards the achievement. I don't think this is any kind of glitch but for the fact that the quest is repeatable with no reset required and no quantity control of how many of these you can keep on you at once.

Can someone confirm that this item still drops? I've fished from more than 100 pools of Steam Pump Floatsam, but still no quest item. Should i pray to RNG gods or just move on?

Edit: On 101. attempt it dropped. So, indeed a rare drop...
