Yes you need 1850 rating for weapons. And you need 2000 for shoulders. But when you have bought them you will be able to have them equiped even if you dont have any personal rating at all.

I hope this one doesn't have an overpowering glow on it like the last two daggers.

I got Sunfire on my merciless gladiators dagger and was disappointed when I found that the default blue glow completely overrides the Sunfire glow.

I'm jealous of the warriors and rogues with their flashy mongoose weapons and the new bad ass Executioner enchant ><

Shame to see spell hit on THE pvp weapon for dagger wielding casters when most classes can spec into a little bit of spell hit. You don't need much for pvp..

Comparison of Dagger + offhand vs staff:

MH/OH combined: 61 sta, 41 int, 17 hit, 0crit, 45 resi, 282 dmg
Staff: 62 sta, 46 int, 28 hit, 46 crit, 29 resi, 247 dmg

Not a great upgrade from the merciless gladiator spellblade. Wouldnt recomment that someone dont spend that massive ammount of arena points in this. Its not that great of an upgrade.

what high end PvE skin this is copy of?
mace and dagger - illidan drop
2h mace - BT drop
2h sword - ZA drop
etc

So when the s4 comes out this weapon will cost 2700~ arena points without the need of a arena rating. Pretty neat that someone can take a weapon of this caliber so easily. I wonder how powerful will the Brutal Gladiator Spellblade will be.

I sure hope to god that the new rating requirement is significantly lower. Otherwise, whats the point of arenas if you've got to have a high personal rating to get anything out of it?? I've got an ok 5v5 team now, but I doubt we'd make it to the 1700-1850 range, and if all i want is either the S3 or S4 blade, then there's really no point. And people wonder why there's 9 guys AFKing their way through every AV...
