Personally i dont think this is from Archimonde , he doesnt seem to have much conection with TYrande , but Illidan does - he knew Tyrande for eternity :)

It seems that the 'normal' internal cooldown for trinkets with procs like this are 45 seconds. Even without the proc however, this may very well still be the best healing trinket ingame at the moment.

It seems that you are overestimating this trinket a little;
It says: "Equip: Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec."
I would assume that you are also able to get a buff that gives you only 1 mana per 5 seconds for 15 seconds.

So i wouldnt count on it too much.

Also: i would love to know why it says "you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec." instead of "you will gain 76 mana per 5 seconds for 15 seconds"
It almost sounds like it gives you up to 76 mana per 5 spell casts, dont flame me if im wrong, im probably never going to remember reading here again anyway :-/

With regard to the proc... it has a 45 second cooldown and always seems to proc within the first few casts after 45 seconds. To the guy that was wondering about the "up to 76 mp5", it gives the full effect even if it procs off a downranked spell. If it proc'd at exactly the 45 second mark, it'd be worth 25.33 mp5. Since it can take a few casts to proc, I'd say it's probably more realistically worth around 20 mp5.

Note that you get the full man gain (228) after 15 seconds have passed, so it would be 45 (internal cd) + 15 (reg time). This goes for all subsequent procs after the initial one.

228 / 60 x 5 = 19 MP5, assuming that you cast at least 10 healing spells within 45 sec on average.

I'm pretty sure it says "up to", because it will start to return less mana per 5 seconds once you level rises above 70.

This would go nicely with my Bangle of Endless Blessings when I get this trinket =) But I will never switch out the Bangle, it's to good. Since after patch 2.4 I will gain 91+ mp5 from procs from Bangle =)

It procd for me while using Inner Fire... right before it started a fight.
It has a decent proc rate tbh, 3-4 times or more / fight (didin't use it with proc addon yet)

One example of a raid a few days ago in BT
In 200 min of raiding got 80 times the Wisdom buff.
That's 1 buff each 2.5 minutes (this including drinking and slacking time)

Strange to see it proc while i buff people, right before the boss fights.
Proced even from making bags with tailoring, and also from enchanting other players gear.

While fighting it's most of the time up, i'll have to take a closer look to see how many times i see it each boss fight...

In wotlk the +healing will translate to 62 spellpower. Which oddly enough ends up being more spellpower than Skull of Guldan (minus the +15 hit and use effect).

A druid with 1sec GCD need to cast 10times to get this to proc, so on average this will proc every 55sec.

As of the Mists of Pandaria expansion, I've been farming this with my fiancée for Ashtongue rep and transmog gear.

When BC came out, I had kind of fallen out of interest with WoW for the time being but I'd also fallen out of touch with my now-fiancée who was just a good friend at that point. I'd never raided Black Temple or any of the BC end game for that matter.
Last run I got one of the Warglaives of Azzinoth and was pretty excited. Today, the Memento of Tyrande dropped.
It's lame and it's cheesy and it also reminded me of how far apart we grew back then and how close together we've come now in a second chance that fictional characters like Illidan and Tyrande never do.

TL;DR - This item crit me in the feels. I'm sad for poor Illy-pants.

Imagine this scenario:

Tyrande one day decides she'd been wrong in her rejection of Illidan, and realizes how much he had always loved her... she seeks him out and finds him at the Black Temple, where he'd been keeping this memento of her all these years, where he never stopped loving her... she thinks of how even after ten thousand years of imprisonment, his feelings for her never faded, and he was prepared to fight the demons only because she asked him to, even after how the rest of Ashenvale hated him... how when he had heard she supposedly died, nothing else mattered to him anymore, and when he heard there was a chance to save her, that was the only thing on his mind... how he had promised that no matter what he would become, he would always look out for her...

...and then when she gets to the Black Temple, she finds he has this entire "den of pleasure" going on. Utterly disgusted, she storms out and goes back to Azeroth, while Illidan runs out after her while zipping up his pants and shouting, "Wait! You don't understand! It's just the bad writing in TBC, you and I both know it makes absolutely no sense for me to suddenly become such a sl**!"

I know exactly how Illidan feels, sometimes we do things that we think that would please our love, but the opposite happens... I have also messed everything up, but at least, I was lucky to spent lot of good times with her. Unfortunately, I have never talked to her again, but still keep a memento and, even today, I would not hesitate to give my life for her if she needed it... It is really sad lose your true love all due your own mistakes....
