Socketed with epic gems, these give 18 more healing, 13 less spirit but 2 more mp5. The 18 extra stamina should make them the clear winner even for people that highly value spirit.

Socketed with epic gems, these give 11-22 more healing (depending on using a red gem or not), 37 less spirit but 11-13 more mp5. Besides that they are about equal. Holy priests do get healing from spirit, 37 spirit would give up to 16 healing in best case (human priest). Making these boots about equal, mostly depending on how much somebody values Spirit vs. Mp5 (So an item 8 item levels lower).

This is no a unique problem, items without gem sockets seem overall to be inferior.

I believe the drop rate is inaccurate. I have run Hyjal about 20 times on my priest and still haven't had them drop. It's getting ridiculous. I have the entire T6 set aside from these boots.

Farming the slippers now for over 7 months, every week on my priest and mage. No drop so far. :(
