Many hunters will nowadays (Legion) need to grind this in order to complete Rift Stalker Armor, and what you can do is kill adds only, then run out and do a dungeon soft reset. Do not kill any bosses, if you do the trash for the part of the raid you are in will not respawn after a dungeon soft reset.

OMFG I just spent countless hours farming trashes from The Eye maybe 20 times in a row, on an alt, being 200% sure those were BoE... I'm so frustrated now that I finally got those on my druid, reading BoP and checking on 3000 different websites that it's actually BoP and not a bug or something... :(

If you're farming mog loot with a friend and the friend loots these they will not be able to trade them to you like with the boss drops.

Can confirm it still drops. Got it today on my 1st clean sweep of the dungeon (adds only - was planning to reset instance until I get it)
