This item is great for priests focusing on mana regen and a solid mana pool like myself. The spirit gives 12.5 mp5 out of combat for priests. Good priests can maximize their time out of combat, especially in raids.

The stats composition is very unique on this cloak and I personally see great usage of this on my restoration druid, I've already topped +1430 healing and I don't really need that much (too many spamming paladins running around in my raids) so this is is a very nice trade off for some very good base stats.

You can't heal if you don't have mana :)

From perspective of my holypriest this is source of Void Crystals. I have built my gear around +healing, and thus this cloak is not option for me atleast, and whereas tradeoff for +heal to spirit is not so bad, il be losing 46-53 +healing(depends what cloak im wearing) for 20 spirit and maybe couple points of mp/5, ecspecially after i got cloak from prince.

As a Tree of Life druid I will take this one just to upgrade my current (Cloak of Scintillating Auras) to epic status, since the real upgrade from that cloak drops from Kael'thas. But it's still a good upgrade, I will keep my high spirit count and also gain more mana regen for the loss of +40 healing which is hardly anything (about 8.88 health per tick on Lifebloom x3)

Very pleased with this cloak. Considering the badge gear you can now obtain easily, stacked against the level of content you may currently be progressing thru (in my case T5), I have more than enough unbuffed +healing to deal with all situations. The loss of about 46 healing compared to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33333, is negliable compared to the massive OOC regen this cloak provides, considering the changes made to spirit regen in recent patches

lol the cloak of suturing is actually worse than kharmaa's shroud so if the kharmaa is worse how can suturing be better compared to this one?i am just babbling here ain't i?:P

With the 4.0.1 changes, this cloak is finally no longer a huge piece of garbage! It has Intellect and spirit which make it a great healer cloak!

Previously, it had Intellect and spirit and some mp5, it offered no bonus healing or spell damage, making it functionally worthless for everyone who ever got one to drop and was sorely disappointed it wasn't the Stranglestaff.
