hmm...being a druid I kept Sure step boots from the ramp quest and got Destroyer's mantle instead of this.......was that wise?
I used the shoulders as resto gear when i'm forced to main heal

Exceptionally good boots for any melee class. I have used these both on my fury Warrior and enhancement Shaman well into the high-60's. You won't find any other boots with such a large amount of strength (and therefore melee AP) until you get toward 70. The fact that it's strength rather than AP (as is found on a lot of mail) means you will also get a benifit from Blessing of Kings, bringing melee AP derived up to 66. The other stats add some nice balance for a melee spec making these boots well worth dropping armour for if you are a Shaman or Warrior.

And more Stamina.

So it is arguably good for Rogue. Though, for sure +8 hit rating will benefit you in instances.

These boots are really for Cat Druids, and any other class that gets 2 AP from 1 point of strength. For example, in cat form, you would get (30*2) + (12*1) = 72 AP, 13 Stamina, and of course the dodge/hit rating. The hit rating should also not be underestimated, since it will really shine during the long grinding hours of outland (a few extra % of hit can mean the difference between a sick crit or a miss). Should be obtained ASAP at level 61 :D

I really do not understand why people think these are ugly.. put them on a gnome and along with any other shabby clothes you have your WoW hobbit!
