I originally overlooked these, but they are actually very nice pally pants. They have nicely balanced stats and with the right gems can be suited to any role. Right now they are my dps/pvp pants with intellect, strength and stamina gems plus a cobrahide armor patch. You can gem them to be almost equivalent to the blue lvl 70 pvp ret set pants. I would recommend these to any pally.

For a retribution paladin, looking for sustained DPS in raids, this is the best option going into Karazhan (IMHO), gemed with 8 str, 4 str 4 crit, and 4 str and 6 stam to get bonus you would get a good balance. Put 40 AP 12 crit onto it and the item itself grants TONS of bonuses.
