If you enjoy PvP, it's recommended to pick up a pair. They're cheap, have stam and resilience, and a gem slot.

Many players who PvP will grab these or a Tier 3.5 item before progressing to Gladiator gear.

It's a shame there's so little +dmg.

Compared to the Grand Marshal's Silk Trousers:
-3 stamina
-5 intellect
-22 crit rate
+3 resilience
-4 spell dmg

Compared to the Merciless Gladiator's Silk Trousers:
-13 stamina
-19 intellect
-29 crit rate
-5 resilience
-20 spell dmg

These can make a good stand-in for pvp gear until you complete the above sets.
